  1. Please, Watford - salvage something for a poor Spurs fan from an otherwise disappointing weekend - and beat those scummy Spammers!! :emoticon-0148-yes:

11 minutes into the 'New Glorious Era', Joe Hart is picking the ball out of the net...........again.

  4. Agent Gomes doing his bit!! <cheers>
Wonderful keeping by the big man!

And surely Tom Cleverly must be in line for an England recall. Similar player to Winksy - also needs more creativity, but a really consistent performer with Watford.

  6. Hadn't seen the first Carroll elbow when I wrote the above.....
He should be off - ****ing loose and dangerous canon!
If he scores in this game it will be a disgrace and Marriner should be suspended. Dreadful reffing <doh>

2-0 Richarlison. Awful defending and Hart once again fails to make a simple stop.

Useful player - easily one of the signings of the summer. I also like the look of this Doucoure (sp?) lad. Decent engine, breaks up play and gets it started again quickly.

    West Ham are beyond shocking.

You know they are somehow going to escape
the drop (probably with the use of taxpayer
    money somehow) .

  10. It’s good to see Nobel staying on today for a change - and suffering the full 90+ minutes of another Spammers defeat <cheers>

AVB started with a defeat and looked what happened to him. I feel so sorry for Moyes always down in the relegation positions. Ferguson really snarled up his career by suggesting he succeed him. I'll say it again, he should go back to Scotland and coach there.

  12. No sympathy whatsoever.
Happy for him to return to Scotland, but only after he gets the Spammers relegated. What he does after that is an irrelevance to me :emoticon-0148-yes:

Would you say both Spurs and West Ham surrendered this weekend? Didn't do either of us any good.I hope it's out of Spurs system and we will get going again!

Difference being that neither of Watford's goals were offside...

You really need to get over this, 5 of your defenders (including the 2 men marking Mustafi) were a 2 yards beyond him by the time he headed the ball, why, because he judged the flight of the ball and stopped, your defenders didn't.
**** happens but don't blame the officials for poor defending.

The next time somebody asks how the abysmal quality of officiating in the Premier League is not only ignored by so many, I'm going to link to this comment.

Why? Because in most other careers, when somebody displays gross incompetence at the job they're supposed to be doing it isn't dismissed by people saying "Get over it" - instead it has the person who was grossly incompetent getting (at the very least) one hell of a bollocking for doing the job they are employed to do badly.

So when the officials fail to do their job, for example Mustafi scoring when offside from a free kick given for literally no reason, I am going to criticise the officials for failing to do their job to anything approaching a reasonable standard. If you can't understand that, I suggest you get over it.

    Sorry Diego but...
Yes the defenders weren't brilliant but the whole point of the offside rule is so that the attacking player does not have an advantage over the defending players. Mustafi being offside gave him the advantage that he should not have been allowed. He used that advantage to be better than the defenders.
