He saw him, watch Tadic's head. Thats why he cut inside, he's one footed, has to cut inside to make the pass.
Its not about ability, its about effort and endeavour. Does anyone give a damn, I'm starting to think not. Can MP get something different from them, I doubt that as well.
I actually think the fans reaction to the end of the season had a significant bearing on what the board decided to do. The fact that they pondered for a long time before taking that decision leads me to believe that they were unsure, but bowed to public pressure. Of course, I don’t know what happened in the board meetings and how close we may have got to significantly improving our squad, but it certainly cannot have helped. Perhaps if the fans had got behind the manager and team and been pleased with our final position, we might have kept Claude and been in a better positioning the transfer market. Who knows? Now, we’re lookimg like a club who have no idea how to get the best out of our squad, we’re in danger of losing some of our better players and the fans are, once again, turning on the team and the manager. It’s a very sad situation when I consider how the fans got behind the whole set-up when we were close to going out of business ......
It is expectation/perception I think. When we were skint and going out of business everyone knew we had no choice but to play players who weren't good enough and hire cheap managers. Now we are loaded in comparison with players and money to attract good managers and we are playing terribly. Throw in that as a fanbase we have been spoilt over the last 6/7 years with the improvements we've made, players we've had and managers and it makes the last 18 months or so seem a bit of a damp squib. There are always going to be people with patience and those without.
If we had a Lambert we might score as he’s an effective target. If we had a Vardy we wouldn’t because we’re not getting the ball to our strikers in dangerous areas.
Friggin hell, there wasn’t demonstrations in/outside of the ground & banners calling for his head, even tho we’d gone 5 games without a home win / goal. Anyway, all of this backward finger pointing is ****e & non-productive, as is a lot of the previous 10 pages of what I read as verging on bullying. There’s a few on here who think they’re righteous.
It’s business, the fans reaction may have been a consideration but would not have been a major factor. We did poorly in Europe and didn’t qualify for next years Europa. This was the reason he was sacked.
Rickie would often come back and pick up the ball in midfield if he wasn’t getting any service. He was quite capable of creating chances for other players as well. We need someone with a footballing brain at least approaching his.
If I was MP I'd make huge changes to the squad next week, bring McCarthy in for Fraser and play two of the 3 mentioned above. Also drop one of Tadic/Redmond from the 18 completely. If he done that and we still lost I think the support would take it a lot better than they will if we go with the same tired formation and personnel that have failed to deliver all season.
That's not on at all in my book... a bit different at the end of the match having a chat etc. with former teammates, but as they're celebrating a goal?
I don't buy that those were the only two reasons. I think a bigger influence was the alleged unhappiness of some of the players and I would bet that the fans reaction at many home games had an influence.
Apparently Moreno missed the birth of his child to be at the team hotel. Absolutely bonkers, he'll live to regret that.
Perhaps, but being there is a recent innovation. And I know a lot of women who would rather the father had been anywhere else. In fact a lot of women wish that they were somewhere else as well.
