So you leave the most recent match out of our recent form ? <whistle> Biased no?

The form is 10 out of 15 or 13 out of 18 ...difficult to see how that form will get 2nd but you never know.

Second result of the season that's mega pissed me off. That FA Cup exit was the first and I still haven't got over that :emoticon-0183-swear

    Yeah, it's a crazy suggestion.
You have to accept that someone like Lukaku is likely to win a lot of balls in the air, and not rely on any one defender to snuff him out of the game. Someone else has to be alert and be ready to at least fight for the ball he knocks down.

It's always a pisser to lose to that lot, but why are so many talking about it like it's a #seasonover disaster?
There was always a good chance that we would lose that game, and if anyone is deluded it's those that thought it was a nailed-on victory.

    Tbf no disaster
Jose told us that before the game as did their fans

And genuinely I still believe that, fairly certain even Diego was agreeing on this

Barring a monumental cock up from Utd they are safe and highly likely second

4th is well within our own hands - if we need to rely on the others losing from here we don’t deserve fourth - I realise this will come back and bite me but from the position we are in should be good enough

    Still worried like but nevertheless
    Onwards and upwards

About to play five a side with six ****ing it’s fans :( :( :(
    This should be fun

tbh they just follow my lead :bandit:

seriously though its only second thats ****ed and nice as that is its pretty meaningless as arsenal have proved. being a distant second really doesnt say much.

its the closing of the gap to chelsea and spurs overtaking us thats the issue as the cl matters so much to everyone.

as it stands weve had no favours off anyone this weekend but had great weekend last time so it evens out.

really and truly our season hinges on games against midtable and lower teams now and we need ti just put that utd result behind us and kick on from here.

a big win next weekend and cl draw will do that

Some of us hoped for a win but a loss was always possible, playing away to the mancs. Let’s as we’ve said look ahead now. I’ve always said that 2nd although nice should never be a priority. It should be fourth and anything else is a bonus.

The next test of fans here will come when Spurs (assuming they are still 3rd and 1 pt ahead) play Chelsea (in the same current position). What result would our wise mates here prefer? :bandit:

i think the answer there is simply the draw.

when city play them its a city win.

games are running out fast so its time to man up and stick those chances away. no bad days at office any more.

It is close between a draw and a Spurs win. But I will stick with my logic and go for a Spurs win. Which means we increase the gap with Chelsea AND may mean we could still lose against them and keep 4th.

at this point we can still lose there

its about matching or bettering results week by week now.

4.point gap now. we must win next weekend while they are off playing fa cup.

hopefully then with points in bag and them playing catch up thry **** up before we do.

That said I’m sure grace jones would have done a better job at scaring our defenders.

Had nothing to do with the mane. Was that bent as **** ref. Came off his arse. If Bailly hadn’t got in the way it would have hit row z. Much like the fuzzy haired lad.

you need a picture.of what that fool of a defender did.

given how patently you didnt see your chump panic utterly and back heel a clearance past his own keeper.
