Colchester doing their best to give everyone else a chance against us. Last week they wee leading Notts C and lost. Today it was 1-1 against Lincoln, Lincoln reduced to 10 men and then score in the 94th minute. What chance them letting Exeter win on the last day?
How did they have 3 shots on target and score 4 goals? Anyway we certainly dodged a bullet today. Dust ourselves down and go again next week.
A surreal day lost 3-0 and come away relatively happy thanks to Crawley still in our own hands hoping it is this time next week
Our better goal difference over Exeter has been cut to 6 as well. Still if we win at Chesterfield who are down unless they can improve their goal difference by about 20 goals in 3 games and then beat Stevenage at Adams Park and i can crack open my 10 year old Somerset cider brandy i've been saving for a special occasion
Match Stats Home Team Wycombe Away Team Accrington Possession Home 53% Away 47% Shots Home 8 Away 9 Shots on Target Home 3 Away 4 Corners Home 7 Away 1 Fouls Home 13 Away 10 Does this look like the stats of a 4-0 thrashing
Just seen the highlights as I thought Brown at fault for the first goal and some shocking defending for the others
Did'nt make yesterdays game, my son who went said first 20 mins we played well but once they scored we collapsed like a relegation team, a lot of people left after 60mins as we were that bad
Is this a wake up call for the last 2 games, or is it an indication that it's been a long season with injuries and we are not able to keep it up to the end. If the latter, the play offs is not the place to be. Is promotion a worry for some of the players and the reality of League 1 football, with the risk of a poor season there, or the realisation they may not be in a WW shirt next season, beginning to take affect?
