This may be a silly question but what do you lot think.

We have players like N’Dong, Djellybaby and Kharzi on our books and ideally would be looking to sell them.
    Their wages are too high.

Is it inconceivable that if we don’t get an offer for them that we might keep one or two of them to play for us.
They would all be very good for div. 1

If we were to loan them out I think we would still have to pay part of their wages so would we not be better off having Kharzi (for example) playing for us albeit on a higher wage than would be ideal.
Ive no idea what he gets but if he’s getting 30k a week, goes on loan but we still pay 15k then if we keep him it would be like having him for 15k a week if you see what I mean.
We can always sell if we get a good offer but why not use them rather than loan them out.

They may not want to play in div 1 but if so, they still need to play to impress and get a move unless they do a Rodwell.

Rather than accepting low fees or sending them out on loan, can we keep players like McGeady and O’Video.
There’s plenty we can still get rid of but some are worth keeping.

I reckon we will get straight back up and then will need better players (such as Kharzi) so must we sell?

Sell, sell and sell. Get rid of all of the waste of space players and this is our chance to start anew!! Not one of them will want to play for us and we’ve already written of these players so just try and recoup as much as we can for them. Hopefully Khazri will have a decent WorldCup, if he has a blinder against us the price will rise.

I agree with Sunderlad. This our chance to rid ourselves of the prima donna's and build a completely new team who play for pride and the fans, not their wallets and inflated ego's.

Khazri would be worth keeping in theory, but he'll fetch a good fee that would be better used elsewhere and I suspect that if we kept him he'd just sulk and he would be a bad influence.

Bod is just a terrible player and not somebody I want to see in a Sunderland shirt again. If somehow some poor fool finds him useful they're welcome to him.

Ndong I'm not sure about, he's a bit of an enigma to me. If we get a decent offer sell, but maybe Ross will like him and want to give him a shot.

Sell or keep anyone who was loaned out last year. No more loans.

Loan or sell anyone who doesn't want to play for us in this division.

Keep anyone who wants to pull their socks up and **** **** up for our opposition this year.

Can we loan Rodwell to a team playing in Syria, Afghanistan or some other war zone? A good deal even if we still have to pay all of his wages.

Move on all of the old brigade and the mercenaries, re-build the team around our younger element, with an injection of experienced and fit League one players. .

They’ll think they are better than the league they are in so it won’t work

We need better people than this lot

If they can convince the new hierarchy they want to be on the magic carpet ride ( and show commitment by taking a big voluntary pay cut ) then happy for them to stay - otherwise try to shift and replace with new bodies.

    Sell:

    Kone Oviedo Khazri Djilobodji Mcgeady

Loan: Ndong (don't think we'll be able to sell)

Rodwell (Only thing I can see is him going on loan and a team paying a percentage of his wages)

    Released

    Oshea Wilson Jones.

    Offer free to clubs

I'd hope to see Macca go, only looked interested sporadically throughout the season. I would like to see Oviado go too as I think it's a wage we could do without. Apart from that agree on everything.

I go along with that, although I think Wilson is ok, but don't know if he provides value for money, the others certainly don't, and the keepers want sorting out.
