    Sunderland are chasing a move for #celticfc striker Georgios Samaras #SAFC #transfers #Greece

    If true, if this is the best Darren Bent replacement Bruce can conjure, I don't know what I'll do. Probably start preparing myself for a long hard goalless season....

    Darren bent replacement ?, now getting Tevez or Berbatov on loan would replace him. There was talk a couple of months back about Klose the Germany striker, i think Shaun wright philips and Arshavin? would be good.

    Dont worry, just read the story on newnow and it ends by saying,"Sunderland have had little encouragement in there pusuit of Spurs paiir Crouch and Robbie [/B]Keane"

    Sort of makes the story a bit iffy

    I can't see it happening. He's a striker that doesn't score. No idea how many he got last year but it took him something shocking like 4 months to get his 1st league goal.

    After scoring 2 against us he was rewarded with a 3 year contract much to the bemusement of all followers of Scottish football.

    Maybe there could be something going on though behind closed doors with the chairmen. There was a Scottish Celtic supporting journo that said the Daryl Murphy deal was not sanctioned by the management but from the people upstairs. Perhaps this is a similar sort of deal.
