I remember getting my name in the York paper. And on the front page of the HDM. To do with City but not regarding arriving in York.<laugh>

Don't forget that whatever you do for them for 7 or 8 years when they reach 12 you will be an idiot who knows nothing compared to them.

I always think although they moved from Hull and grew up at schools surrounded by "fans" of top flight clubs they both chose to support City means I haven't been a total failure as a parent. And that they do have one redeeming feature.

Nice. Tom’s at an age now where everything is ace! I managed to be home for him waking from his afternoon nap so we watched a fair few matches during the World Cup. He cheered when people scored and said “naughty mister” when they fouled.
    I thorough enjoyed that.

Then he’d go ahead and throw an absolutely devastating benny if his jigsaws weren’t in a particular place

    Kids eh?

    All ****ing mental!!

Mark Twain wasn't right. It continues in perpetuity.

“When I was a boy of 14, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be 21, I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in seven years.”

Always been one of my favourite quotes amongst many Mark Twain words of wisdom.

Congratulations, just make sure you enjoy the time when they are small, when they are small the problems are small, the bigger they get the larger the problems.

And they aren't small for long. They are grown up and stroppy in next to no time. Not little angels like we were.

Aye, and if you go in with a bit of dried sick down the back of your jacket it's even better. <ok>
