Stevie Humphrys has yet again gone out on loan to Scunthorpe. This time on a season term.

He'll be happy with that having helped them last year to the League 1 play off final and basked in the glory of scoring against Spurs in the televised FA Cup game.

I think his cup heroics last season were with Rochdale. Scunthorpe is a new experience for him.

Looks like Aron Davies will be going to Forest Green Rovers on loan. He's up there having a trial and played - and scored the only goal - in their pre-season friendly against Cirencester.

FGR are building a fine core of Fulhamites since he'd, of course, be joining Georgie Williams and Isaac Pearce.

As anticipated Tayo Edun has gone out on loan - season long to Ipswich. Should be a good move for him and not least because the new Ipswich boss, Paul Hurst, took Jack Grimmer and Stevie Humphrys on loan when he was at Shrewsbury.

Great start of the new season for Tayo Edun. He got Ipswich's equaliser in the 90th minute as they draw 2-2 with Blackburn. Stevie Humphrys was also on the score sheet for Scunthorpe in their 2-1 win away to Coventry. Stevie had the assist for their other to boot.

Tough time for Rotherham and Marek Rodak in their Championship debut game. Markek made 5 really fine save but unfortunately let in the same number.

Mixed weekend for the lads, although Marek Rodak will be smiling after last week's horror story.

Marek Rodák came out on top in the battle of the Fulham loanees at the AESSEAL New York Stadium [bit of a mouthful that] on Saturday. The goalkeeper’s Rotherham United side hosted Tayo Edun’s Ipswich Town in the Championship, and claimed a dramatic 1-0 victory courtesy of Michael Smith’s 90th minute winner.

Rodák had kept things level when he denied Ellis Harrison and Jonas Knudsen, something that proved crucial come the end of the game. Ipswich introduced Edun in the 77th minute, but he was unable to replicate his heroics from the previous week when he netted on his Town debut.

In League One, Stephen Humphrys played the full 90 minutes as Scunthorpe United maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a 1-1 home draw against Walsall. Lee Novak had put the Iron in front shortly after half-time, but Zeli Ismail earned his side a fully deserved point from the penalty spot after he was brought down in the box.

    Elijah Adebayo
also played an entire game, but he did not have as enjoyable an afternoon as his Swindon Town team were beaten 4-1 at Lincoln City. John Akinde and Michael Bostwick had put the hosts into a strong lead, but the Imps threatened a comeback when Michael Doughty netted just before the break. However, two more goals from Harry Toffolo and Matt Green ensured that City’s second league match of the season ended in defeat.

    Caraboa Cup time tonight.

Tayo Edun assisted an Ipswich goal early on but it ended 1-1 and Exeter went on to win on penalties. (Tayo didn't take one of Ipswich's)

Elijah Adebayo played the full game for Swindon but his first goal eludes him and opposition Forest Green Rovers won 1-0. (Georgie Williams and Isaac Pearce sat the game out from the Forest Green bench.)

Stevie Humphrys came on for the final half hour and scored a corker to pull one back for Scunthorpe but it wasn't enough to stop Doncaster winning 2-1.

Marek Rodak had a good night as Rotherham beat Wigan 3-1.

    Reds and firsts this weekend.

Tayo Edun was given a standing ovation when sent off for his second - very debatable - yellow. Ten man Ipswich went on to draw 1-1 with Villa.

Elijah Adebayo got his debut goal as Swindon turned round a two goal deficit to beat 10 man Tranmere 3-2.

Marcelo Djalo made is debut this afternoon for Extremadura as they drew 1-1 away to Real Oviedo in La Liga 2.

Marek Rodak earned his crust for Rotherham but could stop his team going down 2-0 at Elland Road.

Our other goalie out on loan, Magnus Norman, sat on the bench in Rochdale's 2-2 draw with Fleetwood.

Perhaps surprisingly, Stevie Humphrys didn't start for Scunthorpe at the Stadium of Light. He did come on in the 60th minute though. By this time his side were down 2-0 and ended up conceding another to lose 3-0 to Sunderland.

Tough times for the lads out on loan.

    Last night -

Elijah Adebayo was subbed in the 71st minute after Swindon went down to 9 men. And worse they threw away a two goal lead with Crawley gettiing an equaliser in the 96th minute ... from a penalty.

Marek Rodak yet again was kept busy as Rotherham went down at home 3-2 to Hull. Marek has been quite outstanding but the fact remains that only QPR have conceded more goals than his newly promoted Rotherham side.

Magnus Norman came off the bench to make his Rochdale debut. They were 3-0 down to Barnsley at that point and ended up losing 4-0.

    Tonight -

Stevie Humphrys got 70 minuted in what turned out to be a bad night for Scunthorpe, goin doe 5-0 at home to Joey Barton's Fleetwood. That's now 10 goals the 'Irons' have concede in 2 games.

Another hard day for the lads playing today.

Tayo Edun played the first 80 minutes for Ipswich, who were again finished with 10 men for the second week on the trot. Unfortunately they couldn't hold onto the point, losing one late on and going down 2-1 to Sheffield Wednesday at HIllsborough.

Magnus Norman made his full debut for Rochdale in a home game against Walsall, which they lost 2-1. Unfortunately it was a wayward pass from Magnus that gave Walsall their opener.

Slightly better news for Elijah Adebayo. He came on for the last half an hour in a game that saw them take a 1-1 draw at Forest Green Rovers. Coincidentally he came on at the same time as Forest Green were subbing Georgie Williams.

Stevie Humphrys wasn't in the Scunthorpe squad for their 2-2 draw at home to Barnsley. Coincidentally new signing Cauley Woodrow wasn't in the Barnsley squad either.

The Club can confirm that Rui Fonte has joined French side LOSC Lille on a season-long loan deal, subject to approval by the French Football authorities.
