Taff, all I was saying,in a nutshell,is that it is,in my opinion, disgusting what so called supporters want to happen to a sports player. I wonder if the same would be happy if it was inflicted on theirs. If some do not know what theirs means,a family member.
So it’s you that’s been emailing me asking for 5,000 bitcoins or else you will post my web search on the internet.
Don't you just love them. You wouldn't believe the depravity I've been up to It's ok though, my cam's not plugged in, so I got away with it
I totally agree, that's out of order. Maybe pick a different pub? Or is it endemic in Wales? Serious question, I'm not trying to be sarcastic. I'll be honest I don't remember such vitriol myself, maybe the odd chariot "up the arse" song but I always considered that good fun! Plus Wales were really awful back then so it's all we had I've always liked the rivalry in rugby as in my experience it's always just been good banter.
One of the worst atmospheres I've been to at any sporting event was in Cardiff after England smashed us a decade or so back in rugby. Coming out of the ground the atmosphere was pretty ugly, so it was straight home to Swansea for me.
Don't think its endemic, more depends on where you go Geez. If you go to a local pub I dare say you'd get some banter but ultimately sporting and friendly but if you go to walkabout, or sport bars anywhere then unfortunately they tend to attract the lowest common denominator, imo, so expect the worst. I watched the game in a pub in Wick which was full of professional types and tractor boys. Personally had a good time, I can usually keep the banter going and have a laugh at the same time which is what happened on Saturday. Unfortunately, it seems they only sing when they're winning in those parts and get all defensive and moody when they are reminded to eat their own words and also reminded that they were beaten by a far more intelligent, far tougher, far more streetwise and superior team and that Wales is the team they should be aspiring to be and not laugh at them and question their parentage before kick-off. They don't like it up them Captain
From what I'm hearing in general it would seem there's less friendly banter and a bit more edge than I realised. I guess I don't get out enough to know these days! Saying that, it can get a bit spiky at home with the Mrs being English. I keep telling her Spousal abuse is never ok but that just gets me a slap
