    I'm still kind of hoping that perhaps they're just filtering down slowly. The initial cut off was something like 200 I think. So now doing a batch down to 188 I'm hoping that there's potential that say by tomorrow it'll be down to something like 179 with another batch.

    Well I live in hope anyway.

    I need it to hit the 180 mark anyway as my mate who I'll be going with is on 180 whilst I'm 181.

    I'm not sure if it worked, to be honest. There are points attached to it, but I don't think that they kick in immediately.

    I decided not to go for a variety of reasons. I've never been to a match abroad and it somehow felt wrong to start with this one but there are also health issues with my family which I didn't want to take the risk on.

    The profiteering on flight/hotel costs p*sses me off far more
    intensely than the fight to move up the ticket waiting/loyalty lists.

    Me and my mate have made the decision that if we go we're just gonna drive it all the way. Roughly 18 hours to get there.

    I've got two other mates who've hired a four person campervan and they're looking for two to join them, so if I get tickets and their offer is still available we may jump in with them.
