Well, here’s my song for Europe! I hope it’s a winner!!!!! (I wonder if there’s any chance the chorus might be sung in the stadium on 1st June? I'll be sitting on my sofa, listening out for it. I'm another one who didn't apply for a ticket!) All the pundits fell for that Pep Guardiola - He’s on a roller in his Man City days. They thought if you played them they would surely beat yer - They made no feature of magic Poch’s ways! But very soon they surely felt the strain, As Tottnam went and beat them – without Kane! CHORUS: Oh the Spurs are off to Sunny Spain! Y Viva España! With Heung Min Son and Harry Kane! Y Viva España! And when we win just one game more, You’ll sing till they ban yer - And ask sad scousers, “What’s the score?!” España por favour! When those pundits wrote us off, we found the answers: We took our chances, and Dortmund missed the net! When Milan and Madrid said “Hasta la vista!” They missed the whisper that Spurs weren’t beaten yet! When Ajax thought three-nil was cause for glee Just in time there was our Moura scoring three! [Chorus] If the pundits write us off they’re being hasty, And they’ll go pasty when Tottnam come to town. I guess they think that we’ll be beaten there in Mádrid - But we’re mad yids, and they cannot keep us down! And we shall win on CL Final Day That's why Spurs fans will sing and shout: Olé! (or Hooray!)
Very close friend of mine is looking to sell 3 tickets. Spurs section. DM me if interested. I would take one but just cannot afford it sadly.
You forgot the Athletico connection, we were the first English club to win a European Trophy versus Athletico.....In Rotterdam, so there is a Dutch connection as well, after beating Ajax in the semi. And Spurs putting the tickets on sale on 15th of May, 66 years to the day since that great final and we all know 66 was a good year for a team who played most of their home games at Wembley. So on 1/6/19 or of course reversed 1961, the Spurs year, you could well be right.
Going to be a tough game, even when you are not playing well you drag yourselves into the game and have a period where you are very difficult to play against. IMO That is the key we have to defend well when you have your moment.
Spooky!!! I listened to that Atletico game on the radio. An amazing night and supported Spurs ever since.
Yes, but it was our fault A lot of people are going to have "You know what you are" chanted at them next season at this rate...
May not be the right thread, but it seems to me that Rose is getting interviewed rather a lot recently. Anyone got a reason for this?
