Have to say how much pride I have in this lad playing for us. Not just from a footballing front but he gets shoved into the crowd yesterday and some big cowardly prick decides to give him a boot. Hi just climbs out, smiles and gets back on with the game. This lad has club legend written all over him - even if he's not one who ends up in the premier league, his attitude speaks absolute volumes about him. One of my favourite players at this club for some years
He is exactly the personality we needed in abundance with everything changing at the start of the season. A great attitude can get him so far to go with some decent footballing ability.
Loved that after the dickhead had volleyed him he was smiling taking the throw in. No ****s given, top lad.
O9 is my second favourite player of the season behind..... .....and I never thought that I would ever say this, because I've been very critical of him in the past.... Take a bow Lee Cattermole!
Or a Sunderland fan gets hold of him.. He looked like a pissed up tramp, scruffy soft Southern ****..
Two Sunderland players immediately there to help pull him out . The Portsmouth lad standing there as if there’s nowt the matter.
The guy in the light grey trackie top to the left was being a total ****er too, sorry state of affairs after our few matches this season, I always had a lot of time for Pompey.. The son looks like a young Robbie Coltrane in a weird way..
Full credit to the lad. I only wish Cattermole had gone in and sparked the fat **** out! Disgraceful behaviour from the Pompey fans.
In that second photo it looks like the Pompey 7 and the lino are having a farting competition. Either that or both just followed through.
Top marks for O'Nien who has said that he has refused to press charges as feels that he wasn't hurt and puts it all down to the excitement of the game. And that attitude is far more likely to have an effect that crying off to The Law and acting as if he had been shot, protesting about having a serious life threatening back injury, (like we see most games ON the pitch). The thug I question is no doubt feeling a fool by now and I imaging his club will ban him.
Yeah, I agree. It would be a sad state of affairs if people were being sent to jail for something as micey as that. Annoying as it was at the time. The embarrassment he'll have for a long time in his home area and on social media over what he's done, plus being banned from watching his team is a more fitting punishment.
