Liverpool have blown Manchester United out of the water to agree a deal to sign Polish rising star Jakub Ojrzynski, Football Insider understands. Both of the Premier League big hitters have been pursuing the goalkeeper, 16, with a view to recruiting him in this summer’s window A Liverpool source has told Football Insider they have won the race to land the teenager after agreeing personal terms with the player and the structure of a £200,000 deal with his club Legia Warsaw.
How the mighty have fallen. In ye olden days Utd would spend at least 17mil on total ****e. Like anni and Anderson and that lot.
Liverpool 'enter Fraser race' Liverpool have entered the race to sign Ryan Fraser this summer according to a report. The Scotland international has had a breakout season for Bournemouth and as a result, has received interested from Manchester United and Arsenal already. But Liverpool are now said to have joined the race to sign the diminutive Scotsman. Fraser, who is entering the final year of his contract, bagged seven goals and registered 14 assists last season.
I actually like him and he has that work-rate Klopp adores. It's never about who players play for it's work rate and how they fit in the system.
@moreinjuredthanowen I see you are still pushing the Edwards is rubbish discussion agenda. I may not have @astro type bookmarks, but I clearly remember you telling everyone willing to listen how it would all end in tears. So is it Gordon is the guru and Edwards just fetches the coffee?
There's plenty comments to choose from, most of which are calling for Edwards to be sacked: This one's before we signed Mané, although it's well known that MITO doesn't rate him anyway This one also aged well:
I do remember Mane being **** at Southampton though, he would run sideways across the pitch and fall over a lot.
Newcastle, saints and Brighton interested in Wilson apparently. We want upwards of 25m. Can’t see us getting that, especially not from those teams but 15m would be a reasonable fee for someone who had a good year in the champ and is young with good potential.
This sounds like a new game. Who was most wrong when talking about potential new signings. Imagine quite a few were slagging off Salah before he joined... @astro ?
I can't see why we'd consider selling him, he's done well in the lower league either give him a shot or loan to a PL team and see how he does.
bring it on - seem to remember the 2 who were most keen were me & @Jimmy Squarefoot so we're in the clear
