I'm dreaming of him being a super sub to start the season once settled. As you say Cookie, he has a very good record, just wondering why he has not had his contract renewed.
Chelsea’s youth team has an embarrassment of riches apparently he was playing back up towards the end of last season behind another two highly rated youngsters!
I read it was his decision not to renew his contract and made due to other opposition in the Chelsea ranks as you say Cookie, it bodes well.
Perhaps he just had an epiphany and realised that he needed to turn away from the path of darkness and leave Chelsea. We welcome you into forces of good, young man. There is more joy in Heaven over one sinner who repents than 99 who were never lost, and all that.
The story was that Chelsea offered him a new deal but he wanted to play and was considering a move to Germany. I'm not sure this move makes sense for us unless he moves ahead of Ayite/Kebano as our first choice sub - he needs to be playing regular football at this stage of his career, similar to Sess. That said, if he comes here and does well then it potentially opens up a conveyor belt of disillusioned young English talent from the dark side. So maybe that's our play!
