You are panicking about a situation that may not even be true. You have no idea if we are even in for this player but still spreading your doom mongering views as if it's reality. You really do live in a different world to the rest of us
I know the old adage of ‘ Never argue with an idiot….’ springs to minds. But I honestly think he believes that we’ve put in a bid for every player we have been linked with either on here, on OTIB, in the press, tv, radio etc and because they haven’t arrived through the door within a matter of hours we have missed out on them!
The only way we can truly judge the business done by City is by what turns out on the pitch and ,although I have a moaning tendency, I can't say that I have any real problems with what we have done. Hopefully there's more to come our way and my only real wish for next season is can we please have 3 x 15 goal scorers.
Seriously Mike I reckon we are two top players away from a real push, that being a top notch striker and driving midfielder. Smoggy we don’t have a clue what he is like at championship level.Bentley is a top goalkeeper and him and Nikki is fantastic. My concern is the area we struggled last season goals and at present we still have the same players the same one that did not do it and fell away. A proper 15 to 20 goal striker will really put us in with a shout. City’s signings have been excellent recently and I trust them too get a deal over the line. What I don’t want too see is a panic signing come the last couple of days before the league starts.
Day 77 Report: Nottingham Forest showed interest in Bristol City's Callum O'Dowda https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2019/07/...rest-showed-interest-in-bristol-citys-callum/
Day 80 Exclusive: Charlton Athletic interested in Matty Taylor as clubs circle Bristol City forward Former Forest Green Rovers striker is a wanted man https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport...ve-charlton-athletic-interested-matty-3122612
I hadn’t realised Taylor only had 12 months left on his contract. I can see him going if the price is right. Shame - I love the snake gif when he scores but I can see it would make sense to move him on. You just know he’ll score against us though......
He will be crying into his SoD duvet and getting his LJ sheets out again. It will be undisclosed and piss everyone off. Best bit is they refer him to ex Forest Green player and not an ex Sag. Bet the 6 fingers are crowing about that now
