I feel like we owe an apology to Grimsby and we should be held at least partly responsible for their decline - we did loan them Lancashire and Forecast
My vote goes to 1 of the following: - Marcelo Sarmiento Lee Molyneux Zoltan Liptek All poor players who give still give me nightmares on how ow we managed to sink!
No one's mentioned Marek Saganowski yet. After setting the world alight on loan, he really let himself go once we tied him to a permanent contract. Useless, lazy lump that couldn't get into the team ahead of Matt Paterson (another that nobody's mentioned) at the start of 09/1o. Jermaine Wright Olly Lancashire Paul Wotton Were all useless but at least they made an effort.
A bit harsh really, he's still only 20/21. Saw quite a lot of him in the ressies when he used to captain, amongst his peers he was a very confident cb, not afraid of bossing the team. I'd say Forecast for sure but don't think he's made a first team debut.
apart from scoring a dozen or so Championship goals in a team that went down ..... Technically a good player, just a bit of the wrong attitude.
Lancashire got an injury when he was on the verge of breaking through and he didn't really get going again. Shame, but thaat sort of thing happens. He had massive prospects as a youth.
Lee Molyneux was poor & so was the Aston Villa left back we had on loan whose name escapes. I would always cheer and encourage players who came from the Academy, but for every Lallana & Surman during the dutch experiment we had Olly Lancashire & Jake Thompson. Although these players were poor I think it's always hard to look past players who seem to be managers favourites and make constantly poor performances. How could Jermaine Wright play 100 times for Southampton....very sad state of affairs
Jacinto Ela Eyene There you go. A little bit of Wiki in the night. Just to prove the player exists [or existed].
I reckon that's been taken from another language and directly translated into English. The Wiki entry just needs editing. It refers to his brother, who was born in Spain, but has become a naturalised Equatorial Guinean. So basically, he's taken on the nationality of his brother Jacinto. If that takes them further away from SFC that's fine by me.
