We brought Zac Rudden in from Rangers...who has a goal scoring record....but he ain't doing it in the dizzy heights of Div 2 ....so as usual we're light up front...and still got an iffy defence left over from last season....can we reverse our fortunes against the mighty Crawley....a dormitory village for Gatwick Airport.
This is becoming like groundhog day. Most of the possession. most shots on target, more corners and yet we are still losing by one goal. There is a comment on pasoti that I have to say I agree with. It isn't the defence we should be looking at given the way we are set up it's the strikers. The object of playing the way we do is that we score more than you. Well that bit ain't happening folks.
Big changes tonight. Palmer, Josh Grant, Aimson, Sawyer, McFadzean, Edwards, Sarcevic, Baxter, Mayor, Joel Grant, Byron Moore. Subs Michael Cooper, Wootton, Taylor, Telford, Conor Grant, George Cooper, Rudden. H/T...1-0...Grego-Cox...9 minutes.
The stats suggest that if this was a boxing match...Crawley's manager would have thrown in the towel by now.
60% possession. 14 shots....8 on target. 13 corners. ....and still only a draw.....gave away an equalizer with only 5 minutes to go.
In fairness plym they only took the lead with 10 minutes to go and it took them an age to get an original equaliser. But, with the stats tonight they really should have scored more. I think Crawley will think they have a point gained.
Wait till you see my score on the prediction thread for tonight.....................shocker or what. Think I got one point and that was for Exeter just to rub salt in the wound.
