I can't stand this hatred against Joey. That's all it is, the smallest thing and he gets hounded out.

2 goals past your lot today, must make you feel sick!

    ONE JOEY BARTON!

I like the comments on MOTD about szneznky gettin pushed about and put in a headlock etc
"this is the incident about getting the ball back, well he was lucky and got away with that"...
**** should of been sent off!
So should barton "went in 1 footed, fair tackle" Mate, both your legs went straight into his leg and could of easily snapped his leg in 2! no wonder diaby had a pop!

Diaby had a pop because he's like a b**** on a period. Was a class challenge, you see it 5 or 6 times a game at Sunday League. He's gone in hard with no intent to hurt, one foot, won the ball and tried to stop himself following through, A**enal fans forgetting Diaby was moving too. Both had momentum hence why Barton caught Diaby on the follow through. No need to cry as Barton and Tiote showed your midfield up. Bit of bite and a bit of class. Instead of diving little cheats like Fabregas. Diaby deserved to go, Nolan deserved a yellow, Best had a goal wrongly ruled out, both penalties were penalties, Rosicky had a mare giving away a penalty and a free kick leading to the equaliser. Was a good game.

I'm sorry but you are an idiot. First of all, Diaby a bitch? This is the same guy that had his leg shattered by Dan Smith which he has still not recovered from, IMO. He is also the same person that was assaulted by Paul Robinson back in September and since then has played about 250 minutes of 1st team football because of it. Joey Barton's tackle on Diaby was an utter disgrace and I can't believe with all the rotten luck Diaby has had in the past that his leg didn't snap in 2 again. Who gives a flying **** if Barton tried to hurt him or not? Did Shawcross want to hurt Ramsey? Did De Jong want to hurt Ben Arfa? Did Taylor want to hurt Eduardo? No they ****ing didnt but they still managed to smash their legs into pieces. I dont give a monkeys ass if Barton had any intent to hurt Diaby or not. In fact, I dont think he did want to hurt him. But the fact of the matter is he did hurt him and his tackle was dangerous and warranted a red card.

Next up is when you thought that Diaby deserved to go for pushing Nolan and Barton (who both dived to the floor like bitches - ironic when you call Cesc a diving cheat) yet when Nolan grabs Szczesney by the neck and wrestles him to the ground you seem to think it is a lesser offence. How does that even make sense? As for the penalties, the first one was a penalty. The 2nd one was a joke (Barton diving like a bitch again, not the first time he has done it this season, Newcastle 1-2 Stoke) and the free kick was equally a joke, as was Van Persie's goal at 4-4 wrongfully being ruled out for offside.

Call me bitter, call me whatever you want, because I am as bitter as ****. We were robbed of 3 points today that we deserved due to inept refereeing and Diaby taking the bait from the thug that is Joey Barton. I do not have a vendetta against Barton. You did us at the Emirates and you did it playing good football and Barton dominated our midfield and at the time there were plenty of Gooners moaning about Barton being a dirty prick then but I stood up for him. Not yesterday, however. The man was an absolute thug. He could have broke somebody's leg and then threw himself to the floor on countless occasions and the biggest travesty of all was that fat prick Phil Dowd kept buying it.

Get your facts right mate! For 1, when Diaby pushed Nolan he didn't go down and Barton fell to his knees due to the force of the push, but stood straight back up. As for the second penalty, yes it was soft. But Barton didn't dive because it was Williamson that fell to the floor. That decision is cancelled out by Bests disallowed 'offside' goal. And you bring up Barton's 'dive' against Stoke, when it was in fact the Judas Carroll and even that was a penalty! Anyway, I'd just like to thank Arsenal for being in surely the best game of the millennium.

Barton's tackle was fine, maybe a foul but definitely not a yellow. It is one footed, he doesn't jump in to the tackle, he just slides after sprinting. His studs are down, if you pause this video on 10 seconds (http://vodpod.com/watch/5512782-joey-barton-bad-tackle-on-abou-diaby-newcastle-arsenal) then you can see clearly his studs are down. By the time he even comes in to contact wth daiby he is on the ground and hes trying to pull his leading leg back anyway. He plays the ball before following through in to Diaby. It is hard but far.

Your Cesc is on Fire compared it to Gerrards red vs United, which was two footed and studs up. How are they in any way the same tackle????? I can understand being bitter but comparing it to that is ridiculous.

does no one think that diaby went into the challenge wrong, I was always taught never go into a tackle straight legged.. you tend to get injured when you dont go into a challenge 100 percent.. I think Bartons challenge was made to look worse because of this.. it was a 50/50 ball, Barton won the ball.. and his body carried on through.. Diaby went in expecting both players to stay on there feet.. just my thoughts..

Listen to what Mark Lawrensen said on MOTD. He saw nothing wrong with Barton's challenge, only with Diaby's petulant response which, unfortunately, is all too common with Arsenal players.

The tackle was hard, but oka. Saying that, it could have panned out much worse. Oh, and who gives a ****ing monkeys left testicle what Lawrenson has to say?

Apart from his observations on the dubious penalties of course... <whistle>

That Van Persie goal where he was actually offside and our keeper didn't attempt to save it should have counted? Oh ok then...

Bollocks, if the challenge is fair the outcome is irrelevant.

Did you even see the game?
Watch replays. Nolan grabbed Szczesney yes, which he got booked for, but in no way did he 'wrestle him to the ground'. Nolan put his arm round your keeper's neck, who then squirmed like a girl and hopelessly fell over. Nolan didn't wrestle him at all. Nolan got booked for his grab, and it was in NO way as bad as Diaby's hissy fit. I understand he's had injury troubles before but that's no excuse for the way in which he composed himself on the pitch. Barton's tackle was hard but fair.

And as stated, it was Williamson who fell over for the second penalty, whether rightly or wrongly. But Best had a goal wrongfully disallowed so ya know. Makes up for it. RVP's was offside, no doubt about it. You know the rules.

You lost the points because your defence fell apart. Accept the draw gracefully, grow up and stop whinging like a bloody 6 year old. Just be glad United lost.

Agree with all our boys over Barton/diaby! As for Williamson, rosiski literally ran up and pushed him in the base of the back without looking at/attempting to play the ball, it's given as a free kick EVERY single time the FOUL is committed in the middle of the park, so clearly should be given when anywhere else! Rosiski was just having a mare!

Why do so many fans not understand the rules of the game???

Winning the ball DOES NOT exempt you from making a foul - not today and not ever in history. When making a tackle you have to be controlled whilst NOT putting the opponent in danger. Reckless challenges, as per the rules of the game, are punishable by a red card.

Barton's assault - regardless of it being one footed, two footed, or with his cock - and regardless of whether he took the ball first - was seriously dangerous play. He had completely lost control of his body, and clattered through Diaby. Red Card by the laws of the game.

Perhaps next time he can win the ball, then produce a chain saw from his underpants and cut his opponent in half - by some fans logic that would be ok because he got the ball first!

    **** OFF!
