I see that ‘Kim Bailey Racing’ sponsor a heat at Ascot tomorrow. Cor bally blinkin’ blimey the mind boggles. Or am I being too harsh?!? Will you be rushing out to fulfil the first word of the race title?!? Namely ‘join’.

The two jolly’s have obvious claims and would be the selections on a preview with ew shouts for La Reine Poutine who has a cracking pedigree and If Karl’s Berg Did.

How funny will it be if FIRST FLOW beats the Henderson pair in the Ascot Novice Chase tomorrow

COPPER COIN would surely be shorter tomorrow if trained at one of the “big” yards

    2.50 Ascot - FLYING ANGEL - 5/1

Hasn’t won for two years but was Second in this race off 2lb higher but is a lot closer in the weights to Mr Medic (won it last year) and did finish ahead him last time they run when the field was demolished by Cyrname (Happy Diva was back in third that day) Didn’t run too badly in the Old Roan chase seeing he was out of the handicap a few weeks ago but that race was abit of a farce with all the fences taken out (even tho I was on the winner that day) but just got outpaced by some superior rivals but he did nearly snatch third off Frodon his run before he came 6th in the topham and 5th in the Ultima at the festival and it’s that run I am hoping he can find again! Had some very good horses in behind him that day This is a massive step down in class and is the easiest race since he contested this race last year. Won’t mind the rain coming and reckon this is the race for him and one they had in mind too

Apparently Schofield rides it out a lot at the yard..not sure why. Johnjo's form lately looks a lot better.. from his last 7 runners he's had a couple of winners and places. Must have a big chance.

I quite like the Alan King horse in this race- Sheshoon Sonny..

Much easier to win now as well as my old fave, Glory And Fortune, now a non-runner.

His runner in the Bumper at Ascot tomorrow (unless he deems the ground too soft then he won’t be his runner in the Bumper at Ascot tomorrow) is supposedly (nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no moe…) rather good. Although you would imagine he would have to be win that hot heat AND be trained by the Ivy grower.

I remember how much you like this one. Should be a close call between FF and the Hendo pair - although the market is currently favouring the forum's pin-up and idol.

3:45 - Ascot - Malaya 8/1. Win. Looks overpriced here back over hurdles.

3:00 Catterick - Templehills 14/1. EW for this one. Capable but out of form. Only 3rd run for this yard, very much a speculative punt but could run a place.

1:10 Ffos Las - Cruising Bye 9/1. Win. Will love the ground and stays all day. Just a matter of whether it can be arsed today.

    Singles. EW Patent/treble.

I do like him and thought he ran a cracker on his first go over fences. Fragile beast though.
