According to TEAMtalk who I have never heard of before, we are about to axe Mark Warburton and once again try to lure Gareth Ainsworth. I don't believe this, and expect Warburton will be given more time. But what do I know.
That sounds like click-bait bollocks. If results are still suffering after Jan then I could maybe see some merit in the debate, but can't see why anyone, especially Ainsworth as he's flying with Wycombe, would come to us if we ditch MW after such a short time. We're in a dip in form, and what appears to.be a confidence crisis, but I really don't think sacking the manager is the way to go.
why the hell would you let someone bring in 14, let similar amount leave and then give him the sack? We are not Watford!!! We are a team that NEEDS to give a manager time. Ainsworth has been with Wycombe for 8 years or so? Would QPR give him 8 years?? We need to stick with MW...hopefully just lazy journal cobblers.
Kendel who is singing with Gareth in this video is the accounts manager at my work. I will ask her about this on Monday as she is a very close friend of Gaz I can confirm that Gareth did apply for the job/put his hat in the ring when Steve got his P45 having asked Kendel about it. I really hope this is not true as it's just not the right time imo. Why would Gaz want to leave The Chairboys whilst doing such a great job right now and in their current position? Also we need some much needed stability for a change. Despite our current run of poor form I'm still behind Warburton and it would just be silly to change things right now I would be happy for Gareth to have a crack at the QPR whip one day mind!

The R’s are now seven games without a victory after Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Derby, and it’s a run that could potentially spell trouble for manager Warburton. QPR did actually have a brilliant start to the campaign and it saw them sit in the play-off places at the start of October. However, this recent run of results has really damaged their season ambitions. One part of their play that they need to improve on is their defending. Warburton’s side have yet to keep a clean sheet so far this season which is remarkable considering it’s now December. Ainsworth used to play for QPR and made over 100 appearances for the club so it could be worrying times for the Wycombe fans. The Chairboys sit top of League One and Ainsworth has done a terrific job for the side, so it would be interesting to see if he’d actually want to leave.
This. We weren't expecting such a good start, the yardstick is over half a season then look for improvement, we've had a tough run of games so perspective is needed...
do Team-Talk know that we were knocked back with a bid for a defender in last transfer window? Maybe MW already knows where he needs to strengther
I thought things were settling down a bit at QPR until I read this. Okay results of late have been crap but what would be the point of ditching Warburton? He must be given a season. We will never progress if we sack managers every 5 minutes.
