I have FM 2011 but got frustraitedwith the amount of time it took to do a season (I like playability, not depth) so I went old school, downloaded CM 01/02 (its availible online for free and still have an extremely active online community) and then downloaded a database update so it's now as up to date as possible (Carrol for Liverpool, Torres for Chelsea, etc) and it's immense. I'm in my 2nd season (Won the league & FA cup, semi's in the europa league, 4th round of league cup - I played youth/reserves in both domestic cups) and i'm loving it.
Bozz - Is your signature supposed to say "Bozz 100% better THEN your dad!" ?!?! Just a heads up if it's not.
FM is the spawn of Satan. I have smashed numerous glasses and 1 ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã600 Laptop screen in mini anger fits playing (if you call that playing) it. The game conspires against you at every f**king opportunity and should be banned.
Lost a lot of enthusiasm towards FM past few years. Haven't played fm11 for months. CM01/02 will always be my number one.
i hate the contracts in the new FM. what a game though. went out and bought Suarez the day after we bought him! expensive though!
01\02 is by far the best one ever, don't like the new ones. Takes about 10 years to complete one season whereas with the old one I get through one in a week or so (only play it in work sneakily). The updates are awesome, I started one with the teams as they were at the start of September 2010. Might have to update again though
