No where near as bad as the 0-9 defeat, but that second half performance was utter ****e. Too ****ing complacent!! RH should have acted earlier to bolster the midfield and when he did, he made the wrong choices. Poor day from the team and the manager.
****. We were second to too many balls that second half. Still, we had good chances and could have won that.
I try my best to not throw my toys out of the pram after our most unseasonable run of success in years, but nothing truly gets the stomach churning more than throwing away a 2-0 lead to lose 3-2 at home. Blergh!
Just got to take this one on the chin. Wolves were very very good in the second half and deserved a point for sure. 2-2 would have been fair but oh well. On to Palace.
Btw somebody dropped a phone as they got off the 3 heading away from southampton over the itchen bridge at about 2.45. It got handed in to the bus driver for anybody who lost/knows somebody who lost their phone going to the match.
Some fans need a clip around the ear. Yes we're 6 points above relegation, but we're also 6 bloody points from a Europe spot! I'm not crazy enough to actually think Europe is a possibility but I feel my expectations are rising from relegation to a comfy and enjoyable mid-table finish if form continues.
Credit to wolves for out energyng us. That hasn't happened a lot recently. My only gripe is I bet wolves are dead on the arse in the midweek game and lose 3-0. Easy.
Anyway, it's all Bednareks fault .. last goal he scored (I think) we went in at HT 2-0 up and lost 3-2.
Here we go ..... the emergence of the rabid ‘Ralph out’, ‘Stephens is ****’, ‘Danny didn’t score so we should sell him now’ ...... fan. Makes me sick ......
Couldn’t get there and didn’t see any portion of it etc. So what changes should have been made? Hope RH is not regressing in this area after massive improvement recently.
I think supporters could reflect on their own words over recent months and would probably be better off just saying that they are disappointed or really upset, which they undoubtedly are, rather than lashing out irrationally in all directions. I'm assuming that just one hour before the final whistle they were deliriously happy with Saints?
