He actually tried to get up at one but seemed to quickly realise something was badly wrong and went down again, I just hope it’s not a similar injury to that of Ryan Mason. Good luck to the lad anyway.
That’s a bit of a snotty, sneery comment when we aren’t of much higher stature than Doncaster Rovers.
Last night was the best example yet that McCann's not up to it - more changes and players in wrong positions - God only knows what the tactics were - many of his signings have been duds like Maginnis, Eaves, Bowler, Honeyman - jury's out on Kane Samuelssen and Wilks - only Elder ,Taffazoli and Pennington add anything - one step forward two steps back - Grosicki and Bowen will be off and our best midfielder is just languishing not getting any game time - what a complete and utter ****fest - at least under Nigel we had some structure all this guy does is talk a load of clichés and bullshit - hands up who thinks the fans will be back anytime soon, - at least the two ****s are getting something out of it - their Rollers or Bentley's were in their well guarded parking spots sorting their AA and EA registrations - kind of tacky really when their throwing money at themselves and letting the club wither on the vine
Yep. He went to get up and his body just gave way under him, like jelly. Possible broken neck? It didn’t look good either way but he could still move so hopefully nothing too serious. It definitely wasn’t time wasting though.
For me the key symptom of what’s wrong with the team is the complete inability to deliver a decent corner kick. It’s a source of amusement around me that we never beat the first man, but tbh we should be angry about it. why on earth isn’t something as simple as this being addressed? We’re basically throwing away any opportunities that a corner may give us. I’m completely baffled.
Especially when it’s as simple as floating it up Taf on the back stick. Then getting loads of men round him for the knock down.
But that's another problem with feigning injury and cheating all the time , when there is a genuine injury people will actually doubt it.
The previous two home league games we hardly had any shots on target then last night up to us scoring was the same, we created more but didn't really make their keeper make a save. Once we scored until the injury we created three or four chances and looked like we were going to win it then the momentum went and that was it. Now lost last three league home games and have the second worst home record in the league. I know we have injuries, McCann has had a small budget both transfer and wage wise so it's always going to be difficult attracting better players which is reflecting on our consistency although at the moment we are worryingly becoming very consistent at home. Staying up was priority for me, I think the run before Christmas got us all enthusiastic but recent form has dampened that. Glad we have the points in the bag that we have now got but it would obviously be nice to go on another run although at the moment it dosnt look like it. Regarding Bowen and they say his value will go down once the summer arrives well I think if the money was going to be 're invested then I would sell now but I very doubt much of it will be. Anyway got in last night moaned like he'll they all disappeared to bed, hope I'm in a better mood on Saturday after another very difficult game.
I take it back. He is obviously faking. Grabara update Huddersfield Town goalkeeper Kamil Grabara will spend another night in hospital after being forced off on a stretcher during last night’s match. Grabara had been left unconscious following the collision with teammate Christopher Schindler during the second half, leading to a 12 minute stoppage.
McCann has to do his player shopping at Poundland as you well know. But he sometimes gets a tune out of them. In this respect he is like about 12 to 15 managers at this level. Consistently inconsistent like most Championship teams.
Last night, our left sided attacker tried to put 95% of his passes/crosses into the box with the outside of his right boot. 100% of them failed to reach their intended target.
