He did the same with Merino, Dubravka, Slimani, Kenedy, Willems... Sadly it means nothing more than that MA has recognised a way to reduce transfer risk with the ever rising market prices.

No, it's a clear sign that we are being sold to the Arabs.

Rose in. Atsu out. Bowen in. I’d certainly be happy with that!

That would make it an extremely good transfer window. But I’ve heard the Bowen stuff is just paper talk, no substance to it what so ever. Would love to have him here tho.

This is as un-Ashley a signing as you're likely to find.

Apparently no buy clause according to the latest from Sky and The Chronicle, so only a cheap as possible short term fix for a problem position.

Unfortunately if they are right then it's not really very un-Ashley... More like his usual running of NUFC on a shoe-string.

Typical Ashley signing for me. Comes with baggage, no deal in place, just a short term fix. A good one mind if we can get his head straight.

Looks like it is a cheap short term fix but he's a better left back than Matt Ritchie and Matt Ritchie is better when he's not a left back. It's a win-win situation if it helps us stay up which is still the primary goal this season.

Well up, at least he's kinda proven.

This is a decent signing, full England International and should fit in well.

Certainly a better than that clown we've signing from Inter.

Very untypical I think. Knocking on a bit, no resale value (if we sign him) and high wages I would imagine. great signing though. Bowen next hopefully.

Don’t actually know who I’d prefer from Willems or Rose. Pros and cons to both. Never forget that first game Willems had for us against arsenal :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I see Palace have had a £16m bid for Jarrod Bowen accepted. If we can't get to £16m for a player like him, then either 1) we're the same tight fisted ****hole as usual under Ashley and are watching another Maddison disappear, or 2) we can't spend £16m because we're getting taken over.

    It's 1, isn't it?

£16m is peanuts these days. I just hope we outbid them. He’s the main one I want.
    No fkn ambition this club.

At the training ground according to TalkSport. I've been ignoring this as never thought it was a starter. Seems I was wrong
