Toral has been a big miss for me. We performed much better, reflected by good results when he was fit and in the team. We also need some leaders in this team, we don't have a single one at the moment!
Decent response TBF. I have a feeling either him or papa will be doing an I review with either burnsey or the YP within the next 2 weeks
Cant disagree and yes those halcyon days still resonate with many of us and for me the pinnacle of my support for City. But we never quiite made the leap to Division One even though the season after we were promoted from the Third Division it looked for a while that we might. But sadly it was not to be. But to give the Allams their due we did under there stewardship lets not forget that. Yes they have made lots of mistakes and probably will continue to do so and I am no fan of theirs however think that buying young promising players and developing the academy is the way to go. Lets hope they are succesful.
Most people would have done the same. Can someone ask what the revised price to sell the club is and are they serious in wanting out. You get the impression the idea of bringing in young players on a minimum wage and selling them for millions is a better business proposition than what they are doing now.
If those payments are taking 2-3 years to come in then it looks like we'll have these two ****s for the same period.
You have to remember that the likes of you and I (life supporters of our Club) have no resemblance whatsoever with owners who have invested their money in the hope of seeing a return of said investment. My investment was 2 and 6 pence through the turnstile just to see a game of football when I first went to Boothferry Park. It's has now been up to £30, pre-booked but the experience is no better - inflation taken into consideration.
I think it's more along the lines of the Initial figure is guaranteed but sprees over a couple of years as with most transfers
I know most transfers are staged payments. To me when they say ‘up front’ then that’s what it is, a payment up front. It’s quite misleading.
