Blackpool Football Club can confirm that Simon Grayson has today been relieved of his duties as first-team manager.

The Club would like to thank Simon for his efforts during his time back at Bloomfield Road and wish him well for the future.

A further announcement will follow in due course.

I was absolutely horrified to see a clip of him addressing the Sunderland players in the dressing room ...

... he couldn't inspire me to drink beer.

I'd probably give up the drink <doh>

We can't half pick a **** manager, Moyes, Coleman and Grayson. Ugh. You can have the odd one every now and then and get away with it but three of them in a row did for us.

Thankfully Ross steadied the ship and after a short and bloody mutiny Captain Parky emerged to whip his slovenly sailors into shipshape and sail into the storm with heads held high.

Man Utd have been as bad mate ...

He was abysmal, about as inspiring as a bowl of week old porridge. You can literally see players switching off when he's doing his flip chart piece. Bloody flip chart man! He's stood in front of a presentation screen doing it too. At least use PowerPoint Simon ya great wet dishcloth.

Yeah they have, when Moyes has been their best manager out of the past few you know they've had a mare.

Simeone was the one for me, not too late now but I imagine the job isn't as appealing as it would have been for him to take over from Ferguson which I think he'd have relished.

He’s still on manures payroll isn’t he the absolute cock or just came off it?

I have nothing against West Ham in fact my grandad was a hammers fan but I would honestly rather see that **** go down than the mags that’s how much I hate him

I really dislike West'am. Not sure why, just one of those clubs who's fans seem like a pack of numpties. No offence to your Grandad fella, just one of those clubs where my brain has gone 'nup, don't like them'. So if craggy face and them go down together, I'll be a happy bunny.

Grayson would have been the first manager to say yes to the board at that point in our history. No other manager would’ve touched us with a ****ty stick. I said it on day one that he was a god-awful appointment.

  19. The bloke's no fool.....he's made a ****ing good living out of convincing someone to appoint him, being complete **** and getting fired with his contract paid up.
Nice work if you can get it.
