Taunton 3.32 Mr Magill Likes it around Taunton (cd winner). Has no ground worrys and won off this mark in the past. Small stable with 3 runners placed out of 4 in the last 14 days. Jonathan Burke a good jockey booking in my opinion. Should run a nice race for each way purposes at 12/1.
Good to see Richard Johnson back in the plate at Musselburgh today and he has an immediate opportunity to eat into Brian Hughes lead of 20 winners in the jockey's championship. Johnson has 2 rides for Olly Murphy, both of which are short-priced favourites, whereas Hughes has just the one ride in the bumper (where Johnson rides the 10/11 fav). The jockey's title chould go right to the wire, possibly being decided at Sandown on the last day of the season.
Musselburgh 2.42 Iona Lad I think Tim Vaughn has found a winnable race for this horse today. From his stable tour on the Attheraces website: "He is a well bred individual who looks nice enough at home. He was disappointing to start with but is latching on a bit and is the type to improve in handicaps."
