On a free after contract in Turkey was terminated. Worth a punt in my opinion, he’s back fit and he’s scored more goals in Turkey in 10 games than all our strikers put together!! Give him a basic salary and some hefty bonuses.
I actually would, chances are we'd just end up with two crocked ex-England players mind. Thought we can't register him for the league now anyway though?
Can we sign him at this point? As in our free transfers allowed outside the window. I'd go for it, but only on a pay as you play contract, cos he was a disaster at West Brom with the injuries.
Sturridge and Carroll? Stop spending the transfer budget on medical needs. Might as well see if Darren Anderton fancies a run out too!
Having Carroll and Sturridge in the same squad would probably make us uninsurable for medical expenses and loss of asset value etc. They would view us in the way they view someone whose house burns down twice in quick succession.
At 30 year old would Sturridge want to come here considering what happened to Rondon I'm sure he would want a better payday
If we can have him on a 3 month contract, yeah why not. At least he is actually a striker. If we have to sign him for any longer, **** no, he's finished.
Till the end of the season I don't see why not especially if Carroll, Gayle and Muto are all crocked. i know Gayle came back at the weekend but the next day or so anything could happen and he'll break down again. Pay as you Play with goal bonus incentivised contract works all round
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51712017 Perhaps not. This does explain his contract termination too.
Soccer player Daniel Sturridge has been reunited with Lucci, a Pomeranian taken from his L.A. home. That wouldn't stop nickson from recommending him and us signing him man! We're clueless in the transfer market and we're ****ed!
That’s an unfair comment. Make no “bones” about it we’re looking for a midfielder who can dish out the “wuff” stuff if needed and is like a “greyhound“ down the wing and could “whippet” a good cross. I’ve heard he does have previous experience with Barking as well.
