I have for Thursday: JLT: Mister Fisher 8/1 win only Pertemps: Dream Berry 33/1 e/w Ryanair: A Plus Tard 9/4 (Triple with BDD 4/5 and Altior 2/1) Stayers: Penhill 17/1 e/w Plate: Imperial Presence 50/1 e/w Mares Novice H.: Ard Abhainn 12/1 win only (Lamarckise 7/1 win only NR) Kim Muir: Bob Mahler 22/1 e/w
Day 3: Mister fisher - thought he looked brilliant the last 2 runs and Henderson is in cracking form. Fancy Reserve Tank to run a good race at a massive price (for a 2x grade 1 novice last year). Third wind in the pertemps. A Plus Tard - I think he has plenty in hand here. Summerville Boy EW - Im Happy to back something against the fav here, big bucks aside not many of them come here and win this slog back to back. Springtown Lake in the plate. No major interest but would take Colreevy in the mares novice. Le Breuil for Codd in the Kim Muir. Plan of attack ew
Trying to keep it simple today to at least have a winner at some point: 1.30 Faugheen 2.10 Welsh Saint 2.50 Frodon 3.30 Paisley Park 4.10 La Bague Au Roi 4.50 Minella Melody 5.30 Le Breuil Lumpy single on Welsh Saint, I'll be very surprised if he isn't significantly better than 138.
All about Paisley Park today, hoping just to see another commanding performance in the Stayers, plus earn a few bob back from doing so... 1:30 - Itchy Feet, Mister Fisher 2:10 - Skandiburg - one of my big fancies for the festival this one... Kilbricken Storm 2:50 - A Plus Tard, Riders on the Storm 3:30 - Paisley Park, also have Emiton w/o PP @ 25/1 4:10 - Siruh Du Lac, Orangewood 4:50 - Colreevy, Ard Abhainn - No real thoughts on this one, no had a bet on the race yet though... 5:30 - Milan Native, Fitzhenry, Deise Aba Hard day again but somehow i feel a lot better about my selections today than yesterday... Anyway, let's hope for another great days action, and keep hitting those winners, if we can obviously...
Bryony Frost, quoted in the SL: "He A1, he's squealing and he's boisterous. He's getting extremely cocky - everything you want out of a horse that's going to go to one of the biggest tests in the racing calendar. "Cheltenham is the heartbeat of National Hunt racing, it's where the best of the best go and only the bravest come out on top. Opinions are the race is harder than last year, but with Cheltenham Festival races, I don't think any of them are a gift. "You have to be beyond brave and everything has to go right, that's the Festival. Sometimes in other races you could miss one, or slightly get hampered somewhere, and you could maybe come back. But at Cheltenham you can't make a mistake, you can't get held up anywhere or it's game over. "We're slightly transparent in our tactics, we've got a big target on our backs. They all know what we're going to do so we've got to be switched on and try to keep 10 steps ahead to make it as easy as possible. We need a bit of luck, we need a lot of confidence, we need some bravery and a lot of people shouting us home. Can we do it again? We've got to believe we can. "He's in great order, the world is wishing again and I definitely am too. At Kempton it was lovely to have him back, obviously after we had the ulcers at the beginning of the season. What a few people are saying now is that he's the horse he was last year. If there's one thing I know going into Thursday, it's that not one of our camp, nor me, will be second-guessing him."

Morning all...so on we go in to day 3..done these bets: 1.30pm Faugheen 3/1 win (Sky bet offer) 2.10pm The Storyteller 5/1 e.w 5 places Stoney Mountain 33/1 e.w 7 places 2.50pm A plus yard 9/5 (strange odds) win 3.30pm Penhill 14/1 e.w 4.10pm Simply the Betts 10/3 e.w I 'll sit out the last 2 races but will be backing our fella Top Decision 7/1 each way in Doncaster 1.45pm. Trainer feels he has a chance.. Good luck all
The bookmakers still in front but at least today’s card does not feature three odds-on shots... 1:30 Mister Fisher With the form of the yard so far this week, this fellow can improve past the old boys Faugheen (12 year old novice?) and Samcro. 2:10 Skandiburg A bit of a lottery but this one won over course and distance last time although he needs to improve his jumping in this bigger field. 2:50 Frodon Backed this when it won last year but he will have to up his game against the fast improving A Plus Tard. That could be the reverse forecast – the two girls fighting it out. 3:30 Paisley Park It is very difficult to look beyond the champ on a long winning run and simply too good for most of these. No bet at the odds. 4:10 Springtown Lake Sharpened the pin, sorry to the Hobbs’ yard as it landed on their fellow near the bottom of the weights in a trappy race where most have question marks against them. 4:50 Minella Melody I know that this is the Willie Mullins benefit but my eye keeps getting drawn to the mare that beat two of his last time and drops back a furlong here on a stiffer track. 5:30 Plan Of Attack Another opportunity to sharpen the pin but given that I have never heard of half the jockeys, I will plump for an in-form trainer.
Thursday, here we go 1.30 Annie Mc 2.10 Dream Berry 2.50 Riders Onthe Storm 3.30 Emitom 4.10 Blazer 4.50 Emmas Joy 5.30 Kilfilum Cross Enjoy your day. Cheers.
Talking of the Skybet offer Smokey - did you do day one, The Supreme? I did, my tenner went on Abracadabra who was second, but not received a refund. I have emailed them but no reply so far. It's not good enough - if they want the publicity to attract more new accounts, that is NOT going to impress anyone!
Head still slightly above water, we go again!! Itchy Feet win The Story Teller/ Skandiburgh Ew Min Summerville Boy w/o PP Simply The Betts/ Spiritofthegames Ew Colreevy/ Ard Abhainn Ew Le Brueil/ Milan Native Ew
Heads up ......... major plunge on Apple's Jade down to 8-1 from 25-1 last night Also, time limited offer, Billy Hills going 5-2 A Plus Tard, max £10
Crowds are down I see so far over the first 2 days cause of the virus. Around 52000 there yesterday when normally 59000. Noticeably more toilet facilities, queues at the sinks though..washing hands happening big time... Soaps dispensers topped up throughout the day very well.
Alex Hammond just came into Pipe tent and went through the card. Other than A Plus Tard she hasn’t burdened any of mine.
