    To be fair, I think it's probably more accurate to say they've said they support the decision, rather than taking part in forming it.

    If herd immunity works why do people get Flu more than once .
    As you say vaccine It also needs to now be more actively encouraged .
    Unfortunately for this strain it's a year away .
    Will it mutate I this time ?
    It way very well be a never ending battle .

    Found out last night a friend of mine has the virus. Been in self isolation for 11 days after coming back from Italy. I asked him what’s its like, the symptoms and the effect. He is a healthy guy in his 40’s. He said it’s not too bad, he has had worse colds. A few of his other friends are in the same situation. They say the same thing.

    They still think it’s doubling every five days, there’s just a delay between the number of people infected and the number of people diagnosed.

    A letter in today's Observer from a 77-year-old retired GP:
    'I intend to "carry on as usual", accepting that I may become infected and the outcome may be death, which comes to us all and at least is likely to be from a short illness rather than dementia and years in a care home.'
