    Pretty much all sport has now been cancelled/suspended, National League, Super League, RFL and UK Netball the latest to join the list.

    I imagine they'll try and delay school closures as close as possible to the easter holidays.

    Presumably in effect this IS a ban. If ambulances etc aren't there, then I suspect many mass gatherings aren't permitted/feasible to go ahead for insurance reasons etc.

    Most major sport and music events etc are already cancelled anyway, what people will be more confused about, is does this affect weddings, parties etc?

    Top marks for the use of the word Tefal to denote a large forehead. When those Babestation channels first started a mate of mine loved them. He stayed at our house and insisted on watching on getting back from the pub. One of the women, or babes, had a large forehead, so said mate messaged in and said "Babe 2, can I lick your Tefal?" The girls read it out, and understandably thought it was a term for their nether regions ("Ooooh, av never erd it cawed vat before"). For the next hour or so they kept referring to what viewers could do to their 'Tefals' if they rang in and the like. Simpler times.

    Except for trips to the hospital with my wife I am now in isolation for 12 weeks. I have no symptoms and am not at risk myself, but I cannot take risks with my wife’s health.

    I think there is a definition for mass gatherings and I think that’s 1000 people. I’m sure I’ve heard that somewhere before.
