Anyone got out planned? Worth booking anything abroad? Just Keswick in may for me up to now. Was going to book a week in Spain but think I'll hang on til the lurgy goes away
I’m meant to go to Cyprus early April... probs get cancelled. then Majorca early June... probs get cancelled. then Montenegro in mid June.. probs get cancelled. then Turkey in August... hoping it doesn’t get cancelled. then Turkey in September... hoping it doesn’t get cancelled. Then Poland in November.... hoping it doesn’t get cancelled. this year will be a right ball ache for me. I also have over 30 BA flights which will likely get cancelled but this is work related. I’m pissed off. for 2021 I’m gonna take the pot of refund dosh and spank it on a massive single holiday to a faraway place.
Turkey in late June - early July and Peru in late August possibly but holding off on any bookings for now. A lot of the airlines have brought in new rules on changing/cancelling flights, allowing you to change or cancel with no penalties so might just book them anyway.
Not meaning to be negative but June is when they hope (if they have managed to squash the sombrero) infections will be at their peak, several hundred times (optimistically) the current level
I meant for Alberts benefit. I’m not flying out till back end of August so fingers crossed it’ll be fine by then ha
Had three trips lined up over March / April and May. Northern Italy, Madrid and Austria. Not exactly confident they'll be going ahead....
There's no way people are just going to sit around waiting until June. The economy needs it's contributors to continue, er, contributing. Hence the move to isolate the elderly and only test the sick.
apart from the government mate who just banned Uk flights. I’m fooked. what’s the Turkish for that mate so I can tell my Turkish mates? mall I know is abusive words like Ibne, Dalyarak, goteveren, seniskirim, amcik arse. soz about my spelling... I misspelt more in Turkish...
