I'm amazed by the number of friends who've sounded shocked that I've been out...several even said I should be staying in!
I've said that I will go out for twice as long tomorrow if they're staying :emoticon-0102-bigsm

The Brockwell Park problem is more to do with the area and a long history of confrontation with the police. It's a shame as it's a lovely park but some of the arseholes in the area thrive on pushing it to the limit...

Yeah totally get that and can see why it might cause problems....groups of lads.....social area etc....but still stick to the believe that an old fella down my local rec really isn’t justified to be moved on.

Just had a long conversation with my lad who is po-po and let’s just say we disagreed in our views ;)

There are many across Soshul Meeja having a pop at others for daring to go out in what was until recently a free society. It's amazing how many people are prepared to accept house arrest, subjugation and a police state willingly.

Sweden has had negative interest all through 2017-2019. It has been at 0.0% since November last year. Don't panic!
A friend of mine asked, a few months ago, how I have been coping with banks charging interest on my account? My answer was simply - don't read stupid newspapers.

It's madness. I will go out as much as I choose.

Here's an idea, though. When you go out of your house, you turn left. If you want to go in the opposite direction, you have to cross the road. The idea being that everyone's walking in the same direction so that no one can sneeze in your face.

Prison sentences for those that disobey.

I'm very sorry to hear about the loss of your aunt, Strolls. I lost an 89-year old aunt in February, but managed to attend her cremation, thankfully. That event was the last time I saw my Uncle B. who's (hopefully) recovering from the dreaded lurgy now.

I think every other person should be walking on their hands. It will make introductions interesting.

Here's an idea: how about having a government spokesman presenting the UK daily death figures on TV every day from now on until the end of time?

Failing that, during every future annual flu season let's have presentations on the daily flu death figure, but differentiating between those dying due to the flu virus and those dying with the flu virus.

Saying that, the scenes at Brighton beach today were shocking to say the least. At least the Po-Po went in tough

Well, if they choose to accept isolation rather than distancing, that’s their call. In a western democratic so called ‘free’ society they also have the right to whine about you going out. But not to stop you going out. Has anyone stopped you going out?

I don’t feel anyone is stopping me from going out just about as often as I want, and as this is the only social media that I do I’m not getting any criticism for it. As it is I take a stroll twice a day, once in daylight combined when necessary with a trip to a shop, and once at 9-10 in the evening, when we rarely see anybody else. Social distancing outside is no problem at all, even if other people are being twats, and I have conditioned myself not to expect anyone else to move so I am always prepared to.

Going into shops is a different matter, that is irritating.

Some wallies mouthing off on social media is the least of our problems. If you think there is a conspiracy to rob you of various liberties sign Woody’s petition.

I don't think a petition's going to cut it against the current legislation. The world's gone ****ing mad.

Whoah there, Big Boy, hold your horses!

"There are many across Soshul Meeja having a pop at others for daring to go out in what was until recently a free society. It's amazing how many people are prepared to accept house arrest, subjugation and a police state willingly."

Across the very few soshul meeja platforms wot I look at there are loads of people very much 'on message' about staying at home to save lives. Many are supporting that twat Piers Morgan who rather dramatically described a few people keeping more than 2 metres apart in the London parks today as 'traitors'. Yes, really.

Quite a few people saying hard cheese to those stuck in high-rise flats and criticising them for wanting to lie on the grass and get a few rays.

Yes, these 'wallies' are irritating twats in my humble opinion but, don't fret, I haven't ranked them any higher in Stan's List of The Universe's Current Problems than they need be.

No, I don't think there's a conspiracy to rob me of various liberties. I am just with the (possibly) growing number that believe time will show that the measures taken to be disproportionate*

[*No, I am not trivialising the deaths etc.]

    Today's totals are
    89 new cases
    1039 in total
    156 recovered
    15 in hospital
    3 in icu
    2 very serious
Still just the one death so far

They have started to run out of things to brief us about so now we are getting ethnic breakdowns
    74 per cent are white
    8 per cent asian
    7 per cent maori

Sounds like the old bill are going to get new powers

One moron posted a video of himself in a supermarket coughing on people
He is appearing in court tomorrow on a charge of endangering life
Would have been his own had he done it to me

There is a picture doing the rounds of Richmond yesterday with many people/groups sitting on the grass drinking and walking around like it's a summer day. <doh><doh><doh>

I got the same sort of thing with Barclays. It's taken a hit, but I would only spend the money if I didn't do it.
