I had a Man From UNCLE badge that I think I got in a Jamboree Bag (remember them)?

Loved how Ilya Kuryakyn would get in a punch up every week, then after chinning three or four bad guys, he’d adjust his shirt cuffs, wipe a tiny bit of blood from the corner of his mouth, and be impeccably smart and good to go again.

The Guy Richie film was a disappointment. I think he was hoping it would be his pitch for a Bond movie, not much chance of that now.

Garden centres back open today in England.

Because that’s what we all need.

IMO the issue is not directly with the players, coaching staff etc. who will have all of the safety measures afforded to them. Playing behind closed doors will still require a significant number of people involved, up to 300 if the reports are accurate. These people will unlikely have access to the same protective measures. In all of the “re-start” conversations, I’m not hearing how this will be managed.

I do actually. Need some compost, and some sand (no, can’t use builder’s sand, it’s deadly to plants).

Yep, there's a whole raft of people involved from stadium staff, security, medical teams, grounds people, media, etc.

But it's okay, Boris has told everybody they can wear a pair of old knickers over their face and get back to work, so I can't see any problems....

    It won't,

The whole legal case was that the law as it stands is now unenforceable

The last five pages of this thread taught me one thing... @Spurlock has **** taste in music! Trying to hate on The Beatles, Stones and Bowie... what a ****.

Oh and I can finally go get some pots for my herbs! I’ve got them growing in rows in a bag of compost at the moment and they’ll soon outgrow that!

Oh and something about looney lefty thinking it’s illegal to be unhappy in a park!

so they just reword it slightly and pass emergency legislation so wasting everyones time & money . great .
I fail to see what the point was and what they hoped to achieve except cause Plod more problems as if the confusing guidance issued in the last few days wasn't bad enough .

They are on the third version of corrections since monday.

The initial version allowed people to travel to work but not be in a public place to carry out work.

The reason for all this is that they are bypassing parliament where legislation goes through several readings and scrutiny before it is published as law. The coronavirus legislation as passed allows the government to change peoples freedoms without going through such niceties.
