The evening sky before the first typhoon of the monsoon season here in Manila. (Taken last night, and yes, it's chucking it down today)
If I could harness the seemingly unending horniness energy of wood pigeons, I reckon I could power my house.
I could probably power a small town on the amount of droppings they leave on my garden furniture, situated as it is under their favourite mating tree.
I have a gazebo thing that had a canvas roof. A storm saw to that, and now it's a perch with the patio furniture underneath. I need to make a new roof. I'm going to attempt a reciprocating roof which could be hilarious to watch as I'm aiming for this type of thing and I'm accident prone I'll take photos when I get started
Looks impressive! Remember to lay the poles in the sequence that the sun follows, in the tepee tradition. Those ones appear to be the wrong way round!
Chilcs if you’re into your home brewing and you liked the Brew Dog your daughter sent you, you can get their recipes from their website! by the way, how did you find them. I’m just enjoying a Hazy Jane as I type.
Last one I had was an Elvis Juice, which is just fab. The Hazy Janes went very quickly. The Dead Pony Clubs are OK, but a bit unsatisfying. Out of all of them that I’ve tried, the Punk IPA are still my favourite I think. Saving the rest until I’m between home brew batches. Calling it home brew is actually a bit of a stretch, to be honest. I found on eBay this firm called Munton’s, who do this thing called Beer in a Bag. Literally all you have to do is add 25 pints of warm water to the plastic bag that arrives in a cardboard tube, and 30 days later you have 30 pints ready to drink! This is my first attempt, and it’s called a Session IPA, about 4% but very tasty. Just ordered the next one which will be a Golden Ale. They also do a Ruby and a Dark. All I can say is, another good use of plastic! Here’s the bag:
Foal somewhere near Beaulieu. Poor picture but pleased to see one as thought I wouldn't this year due to Covid.
It is a hill fort. Maiden Castle. We are blessed with a lot of these in Dorset. This is by no means the most strenuous
Haven't been for a mooch in that area for years as I'm usually just driving through on my way elsewhere, like Portland or Weymouth. Dorset is a beautiful county.
