It seems a lot of the population have decided the risk has gone and they can just crack on as normal again.

They can do as they wish for me, I’ll be making my own decisions, and they won’t be the same.

 

My OH was genuinely shocked when I showed her the regional R values. She thought it was all over and had died out.

I think a lot think it's all done and dusted.

 

Spoke to my lad in Dubai earlier. Their lockdown is now reducing with some shops reopening etc. But social distancing is mandatory as is the wearing of face masks. Public beaches remain closed. At one point they had to have a police permit to go out, and there’s still a curfew in place.

258 in total have died in the UAE.

Interestingly they saw a spike in infections to 800 a day after relaxing the curfew post the end of Ramadan.
