Sea temp is around 14deg today so still pretty chilly. Definitely need a wetsuit. Air temp of around 28deg helps though !

All to do with the swell rather than the tide.

Been another beauty of a day though.

You just cannot beat a setting sun :emoticon-0148-yes:.
I go out into the East Riding countryside and sit outside a pub.( you know :emoticon-0138-think)
You can see out across the fields and the Sun sets just behind a farmhouse it looks great .
Not as good as your sunset I might add .
    Rather envious :emoticon-0178-rock:

Where about in the East Riding mate ? I spent a lot of my childhood a bit further north around the north york moors. Family lived near Scarborough and my parents took me and my brother all around the moors and villages up there. Used to love going up to Robin Hood's bay and my granddad was devout whitby fish and chips man :)

I might know one of fellas who own it mate <whistle>. They’ve been double ****ed as they invested a load of cash on the holiday homes they put on the land next to it, which currently also sit empty.

I live in Hull and I'm just on the edge of the old hull to Hornsea railway line .
    Its really handy .
The old platforms are still there and a couple of pubs just off it .
Robin Hoods bay is really nice along with Staithes .
Bloody tiring walk back up them 2 places though :emoticon-0120-doh:
