That's true to a large extent, but those states will prioritise their self-interest above everything else including him. Best way I can describe it is that the 100k+ deaths on their doorsteps due to the Coronavirus and the country going up in flames due to mass rioting is completely different to a perceived Democrat induced impeachment attempt.
The swing states are usually Florida and Ohio, One of the key demographics that Trump won in the previous election is the same group Obama won. Every day blue collar workers. Obama promised to revitalise the economy and create jobs, as did Trump with lower taxes. If he can keep the blue collar workers from Biden, he can still win.
The King James Bible is one of the greatest compendiums of poetry in the English language, you just read the wrong bits.
George Floyd's brother has provided the biggest hammer blow to Trumps re-election hopes ... he's implored black people to vote... Trump is already running scared of postal ballots ... I expect this will be a continuing theme and message
Yeah go on, I'll give it a bash. As I told you last night, you try and force your bias opinion on to others, and your comment here is a clear example of that. You do it with Boris and you do it with Trump. What Trump did last night was completely wrong. But you seem to overlook, that the night before, peaceful protestors burnt down a church. A church ffs! You overlook from state to state properties have been looted and businesses ruined, so much so, that one black businessman had a fund me page set up for him, that must have raised a million dollars by now. But you don't mention nor condemn none of those points, because it don't suit your agenda or narratives, yeah Trump is an arsehole but no more than you are hypocrite. Obviously in Cornwall or whatever place it is you live, you don't have to face your place being looted and burned down by people. I hope you like my new avatar, protector of the people.
Watched the whole thing unfolding live on CNN last night ... gaps in the security lines were firstly filled by military police so it became solid with more rows of them then flowing in behind. They then advanced rapidly upon the protesters who had not moved and were peacefully protesting. This was half an hour before curfew was due to start and minutes before Wiggy was due to start his speech. All of a sudden the ranks of enforcement pushed forward aggressively and started a 'charge' ... protesters fell back. Tear gas followed and then a line of mounted police came on at a canter. They quickly cleared a swathe ... Wiggy has started his speech claiming he is the President of Law and Order and that he will also protect the American right to peaceful protest ... an irony not lost on the CNN commentators, one on the front line now wearing a gas mask against the tear gas who reiterates that the protest was entirely peaceful before the troops charged. Wiggy finishes his speech then walks over to St John's Church to pose for a photo opportunity with a bible. It was surreal.
I haven't overlooked it though have I. I said that the US police forces are well equipped to deal with looters. It's not a major problem for them to deal with groups breaking into shops. This is one of the best resourced and funded Police forces in the world. And they should rightly deal with looters. But that's not what is happening here. My question is how how do you defend a president tear gassing and firing rubber bullets into peaceful protesters, so that he can clear them out of the way in order that he can walk across town for a photo shoot ?
Did he go inside and say a pray? Oh, no, hang on, he couldn't could he, peaceful protestors the night before burnt it down.
Watching CNN last night, one of their white house sources said that the reason Trump gassed and shot peaceful protesters for his 'bible walk' photo op, was because he didn't like the fact that it got out that he had to be moved to a bunker the other night. He thought that made him look scared and weak, so he wanted some optics portraying him as a strong leader in control. The man is a narcissistic psychopath.
Like I said you're a hypocrite, you live in a nice leafy village or town miles from anywhere. How do you feel about a church being burnt down, or temple, or a mosque. Even last night, I was discussing where reporters also needed protection from protestors, but you had to trump that with the police, just to ensure your narrative 'won.' All my comments on here in regards to the murder and Trump's actions are clear to see. The only difference regarding Trump, I just don't look one side of the fence. Anyway why you on here this time of the morning, aint you got some life saving to be doing?
I’d have respected him more if he’d got stuck in himself. Shooting a load of peaceful demonstrators out the way to wave a bible in the air probably does appeal to his base though.
How am I a hypocrite? I've said that looters or anybody causing criminal damage should be arrested, like I said, the US Police are well equipped to deal with that. With regard to the reporters, as I said, I hadn't seen any footage of them being attacked by protesters, wrong if they have. I was commenting on the footage I saw of Police attacking Press, completely unprovoked.
