I will stick with my stance, circumstantial evidence and probability appear to be used here to pin it on a bloke. I have done the same with her parents.
However it’s more plausible that a convicted rapist both adult and child is more likely the better suspect than the parents who are on the holidays. I still think there’s a connection between him and one of the family or friends. But I have not facts about this it’s just my own take on it. The way the parents acted after this suggest that they are in some way guilty aswell. I’m thinking a coverup!
Like I said yesterday in one reply, wouldn't surprise me if what they used to sedate her was from him.
well I have a feeling he was just a chancer and the more probable is the least far fetched, but we will hopefully get closer to the truth... it's a judgement call really I could be wrong but I'm confident
The question is why did he only take Maddie then? Could it be they accidentally administered a high dose of sedatives, because they wanted an adults night, went to check on her, realised they ****ed up, made a phone call to get rid of her and that's where he fits in. The only question then is why was there blood in their car.
Punishments have to fit the crime though so comparing apples with oranges is just bad practice. They'd be charged at best with neglect failure to suitably protect the child. They certainly would not be looking at prison time. Even in cases where neglect has taken place over a long period of time (which is far worse despite the unfortunate outcome in this instance), the parent will have the child taken away but suffer no other consequences. In the eyes of the law the crime they committed was very minor. It just had tragic consequences.
like I said yesterday I'm not getting into all the could bes. I'm just keeping it simple... this guy fits the profile of a child killer and he was there and changed vehicle ownership the day after... I believe they know they've got him. I also believe the most probable scenario is the least far fetched .. kids bleed if you look in my car you'll find someone else's blood somewhere. I don't believe the parents had anything to do with it.. that's my stance and you are entitled to yours. tbh who's right or wrong isn't really important, but finding out who's responsible is, so let's hope they have as I believe have something strong to work from.
Usually in high profile cases, they like to make an example of people. Either way, they should at least have their other kids taken off them. Neglect definitely. Potential OD on prescribed drugs? Given their positions, this could result in them being struck off too.
Disagree. No need to punish their other kids because they've made one mistake. Charge them for sure, have it on their record. I'm pretty sure they've learned from it and won't make the same mistake. Its a different case if they are guilty of either an OD or being complicit in their disappearance. That isn't the case at present. People want to make an example of them simply because they believe they are guilty of something far greater. Thankfully the law doesn't work like that. I have no desire to go back in time to pitchforks and witch hunts. please log in to view this image
My thought on the whole process is sedation gone wrong. Plenty of feeling from me that I am right White, middle class who vowed to remain in Portugal until they found her, until they were made suspects. If this were mick and sandra from Bootle they woudl have had other kids taken from them by social services when admitting leaving them alone.
