I understand all the anger against players and McCann after today, I feel the same. But really who would have given us a point at 3pm today? Nobody. You never know it might be the one point that keeps us up.
So, that's up to them isn't it? There's always people who think a team are pants, but objectively speaking, this is ****ing awful. I haven't seen worse in my 27 years of following the club.
I do hope McCann doesn’t have a dog, because he can’t hold a lead! First half did everything right, completely blew it with poor second half, McCann had absolutely no idea what was going on when Brum starting attacking. Defending was pathetic, sloppy, everyone else could see their sub and midfield were the problem, yet our subs were poor man for man subs, even the Brum commentators were rubbing their hands that Lopes and Wilks were taken off, the two players that were causing Brum the problems! McCann is way out of his depth, completely inept, ridiculous reaction to subs and game management.
You've been supporting since 1993? How about 1996 - 2000? One of the worst six teams in the country for 3 or 4 seasons running. Sub 5K home gates the norm.
I had forgotten that I had posted before, I clearly have memory problems. I had forgotten that I had posted before, I clearly have memory problems. I had forgotten.......
You cant defend (and neither can out defence) the indefensible, but you do seem to have a bloody good go...
I'm normally of that disposition, unfortunately I'm about 9 1/2 half-full glasses at the moment and somewhat maudlin !
A very disappointing result but I'm perhaps one of the few who found the game quite entertaining. Of course I'm comparing it to the dross served up over the last six months and by not listening to the manager's post match comments I can sit in my cage unrattled.
Excellent first half, they chased, harried and scored two good goals, second half first 10 so important keep it tight yet we let two in. Birmingham came out much bette r, big lift with first goal and that left winger caused all sorts of problems. We haven't got a recognised right back and he should have been given more help. Once they got equalizer I thought they would go on and win it, decent but disappointing point when you are 2.0 up and terrible to let three goals past us second half. However a point is better than none
Thursday 2nd Middlesbrough Home.... Sunday 5th West Brom Away.... Wednesday 8th Bristol City Away....
Yep. Expectations are different in a higher league though. You expect the standard of football to be worthy of the division we are in. I remember watching us draw with Scarborough, terrible game but we’re playing even worse during matches at the moment. Today I watched our midfield (granted, many had come back from injury) back off the challenges in the second half, which as a midfielder is a cardinal sin.
Better with a point than naff all....I'm 51 years with the Club and never seen a fan base so poor and unwilling to at least 'try' and get behind it.We are what we are,McCann's going nowhere and if we stay up we have at least a chance of being sold.
That is spot on. We will never see anything else so long as Ehab is in charge. Try to relax everyone. There is no incentive to have a plan B. The board (Ehab and his dad) , the head of recruitment (he hasn't had a mention recently) and Head Coach (that's the tosser on the touchline), all agree this is THE Hull City way of playing. Same formation whatever is happening. Just change the personnel when you want to look like your doing something. It's piss easy being Head Coach at Hull City. I'd do it for less than him. You don't even have to think.
