Yeah I wasn’t being serious bro. I reckon I’d probably get mine a Polo. They seem perfect first cars to me.
Yeah I know bru. Few of the groms I surf with down here are really into their hot hatches. Lads who are 19-23 ish. Some of the figures they are paying for insurance are eye watering.
I got my lad a Polo when he passed his test. Lovely it was. He then proceeded to stuff into a tree with 4 mates in it (allegedly stoned, but he’s never coughed for it) and they all legged it. Car was a write off, but they all walked (or rather ran) away from it. I’m therefore pleased I put him in a Polo and not some Jap scrap or whatever. I never bought him a replacement.
Yeah I considered buying one for myself a GTI, when I was doing a load of miles. They’re just steady, safe and I guess a bit fun. Wouldn’t catch me picking a clio/corsa over one of those.
They’re ideal first cars, as they’re well made, solid, safe, low insurance group and still decent to drive.
My missus has got a Clio and it's actually pretty of fun to drive. It's only a 1.5 dci engine, but it's pretty well torqued and drives like a little suped up go-kart and still returns 60mpg.
This one's on an 08 plate. It's nothing special to look at, but it's got a 5 star ncap rating so I'm happy for my missus to drive with the little un in it. I like to rag it about on the B roads down here as it's pretty pokey and the thing probably only weighs around 800kg
You like to rag the car that your wife drives around with your child in. That’s just irresponsible bro.
****ing class that, see how fast his old man come steaming in then gets handled by a 14 year old Worra ****.
10 yr old Vauxhall Corsa with speakers the size of the rear seats and a straight through exhaust system His mates will love him
From reading the Jenson Button version of events... The driver that lost it, and his old man that went steaming in on the pit lane...well it's his old man that actually owns the track. That could be awkward if they both get bans.
