Match Day Thread Pompey Vs Charlton

Our toughest opposition so far. Despite our clinical finishing against Oxford we will have to offer a bit more creativity to beat Portsmouth, another clean sheet may be beyond us. Aneke will have to start, and if Maddison doesn't start we will start to wonder what the problem is. It remains to be seen how Bowyer replaces Innis; probably depends on Matthews' fitness. It's time for Jonny Williams to step up to the plate, even if it means Aneke plays as lone striker.

 

Two of the three biggest clubs in League One meet on Saturday, with many predicting that this will be 1st v 2nd by the end of the season.

The Mighty Unbeaten CAFC are without Inniss, Doughty (hamstring) and Watson (236 bookings) , no bad thing in the latter’s case, as we might finally get to see a footballer in MM who is even more elusive than @TC (Lovely Geezer) on this forum after we win.

Personally I would start Charlie Barker alongside Famewo, rather than Oshilaja

Well you put up the second one! I'd be quite happy to delete this one but I don't know how to do it.

 

Oshilaja is still injured, isn't he? I can't see Bowyer throwing Barker in against Pompey (away). Be either Gunter at CB (if Matthews is fit) or Pratley, with Barker on the bench.
