Anyone watching Burnley - Palace? JayRod showing glimpses of his old 'pre-injury' self tonight - love to see it.
I see that we're on the few who benefit from a three day break between the two Xmas fixtures. And for anyone without Amazon Prime, if they're again doing a 14 day/one month free trial (I don't know), that might be worthwhile given that 3 of our 6 December games will be on there.
Think it’s a two day break? We play on the 26th and then 29th? Agree that it’s good though, especially with West Ham playing on 27th instead of Boxing Day. Though we do play 3 games in 7 days in the lead up to Christmas with Sheff, Arsenal and City.
75 hour break. Or three days and three hours. And as well as getting more time off than West Ham, we also get more time off than Liverpool. (We don't know the exact date of that yet, maybe the 2nd, but we do know that Liverpool play on the 30th.)
I have stopped taking any notice of the “time between games” effect, as too often, in the past, the team that should be knackered come out with all guns blazing and make it look as though we are the knackered team. Maybe because of complacency?
100% I always looked for the “tiny” advantages but so often like time between games it just doesn’t play out. I think it might start to affect on the game after tho.
I think they finally accepted that the defender’s toenails weren’t going to grow any longer no matter how hard they willed them to.
