Spot on that Smug. Wish we all could just let the bloke get on with it once he gets here. There’s an awful lot of work for him and his staff to get on with. Can’t wait to see it all unfold.
There's one certain fact. RAWA, or anyone else, will take credit for any success they claim to be involved in ... ... but won't accept any blame for the failures. They claimed they were responsible for the SC U-turn which wasn't the case ... ... but accept no blame for the club cutting off communications with the supporters. Nor do they accept that their statement handed Donald the perfect excuse to blame the supporters for selling up. Anyway, time to fire up SAFSEE
These 'spokesmen for the supporters' really need to get off their high horse and come back down to earth ... ... otherwise we'll be lumped in with the Mags as demanding, arrogant and delusional. This is Weatherspoon's latest drivel, now being repeated elsewhere, that shows just how far he is up his own sad arse. "“I think the fact that the deal has changed, the fact that the deal did come very close to falling apart and the fact that he has ultimately managed to get control; I think that’s a big positive and I think it speaks to the fact that actually maybe Louis-Dreyfus knows more than myself and possibly others gave him credit for.”" That's a real quote, I know it looks like I must've made it up
Well at least he's finally admitting that he may know less than others. Ooh, hang on, i'm sure that others have tried pointing that out to him in the past
Again, the damage has been done. I guess that's the power of social media, podcasts etc. nowadays. Everyone has a voice, which is great, however some people have allowed themselves to become deluded and push their own agenda.
I guess the only way to combat that is for a load of people to respond to such social media posts telling him he's full of ****. Sadly it will never happen as more people are intersted in likes than the truth
It won't happen. As has been pointed out earlier, people like a bad news story. This added to FPP having a change of strategy rather than the falsely rumoured issues caused by Donald (all coming to light now with the fact they're invested in 4 English clubs) and the Donald out brigade from last Christmas have given an even bigger platform.
But still seperate entities. Makes you wonder if Furhman was the driving force towards buying the club yet Platek and Phelan were more interested in the return on investment. Could explain the parting of the ways from MSD.
I stopped following WMS and Weatherspoon on Twitter after he (I think it was his squeaky voice) may have suggested at the end of a WMS podcast that some Sunderland supporters were stupid, and his mate came on here, along with others in an obvious attempt to target you. I can't be done with people like him, full of their own importance and attention seeking.
