"didnt look like scoring" no, their keeper only pulled off a worldie from Chaz in the first half. Moan all you like, we are QPR, but less of the nonsense!
Apart from 2 saves we created F all & had no creativity, not moaning mate I’m just stating what I saw & it was pretty dire
Very poor Ist half, both teams, but better 2nd. We have lost Amos, Carroll and BOS from the creativity department just this season and are playing with a man less in midfield by playing the 2 up front to get the best from Austin and Dykes, which didn't work yesterday. So not surprising really that we are playing without the fluency we managed even earlier this season. Hope we have the funds somewhere to at least replace Carroll and BOS, WB role, and bring in a strong box to box midfielder. I doubt that describes Johansen these days, WLS say he's incoming! I saw him play for Norway last year, he was totally off the pace and was subbed before or at half time. He hasn't played for Fulham this season I understand. We need someone a lot better than that.
two games running - two blantant handballs...and none given for us. A pint from Derby game would have been deserved. neither team did enough to win and the one chance that direby took they scored from. As has been said by lots on here, we def need new faces in for midfield and wingbacks and to freshen squad up.
I think we can talk as much as we want about what players we'd like to bring in. But we need a manager who can actually outfox other managers. It seems that almost all season, managers have easily outsmarted Warburton. We're always unlucky with injuries. But I take that as QPR usually being unprepared, which we've done for many seasons, regardless of which manager we have. That would suggest something is wrong at the club with regards to filling positions adequately, with backup players in stock. But I do believe that a high quality manager could get some good football out of our squad. And we all can feel that Warburton doesn't seem to adapt mid game at all. We tend to basically play the same all game through, and when other teams adapt to us, we struggle. Of course, going on a shopping spree for top players would make a difference. Which is why Harry Redknapp got results out of us: he had good players, which brought results even though his tactics were "go out there lads and enjoy yourselves."
Seems some people are forgetting a whopping FFP followed by years of restrictions and the third smallest budget in the league
The conditions for us are ongoing as they are with every EFL club. There is a loss ceiling and our losses will come under greater scrutiny than many others. As previous offenders we would be dealt with very harshly. We are not allowed to make an annual loss over the agreed figure, not sure how much that is but it isnt huge under the circumstances. This is why we are constantly under pressure cashwise. The owners are not even allowed to inject extra funds in the club, it has to be sustainable. Therefore, we constantly run the risk of losing players like BOS as we cannot meet the wage demands and therefore they wont sign long term contracts. Other clubs have been clever and manouvered their way around the rules with ground selling and lucrative in-house sponsorship deals plus players being employed as coaches rather than full time players.
Probably the biggest budget the league has ever seen to play like **** half the time and finish fourth. Good times.
Very much so, we are under intense scrutiny. If Air Asia or Mittal Metals suddenly stumped up some serious sponsorship cash from out of the blue it would be seen in a far from favourable light
You wonder how much longer Derby can stagger along and get away with breaking the law. If you read the thread they are breaking UK company law by failing to publish their 2019 accounts, yet they've repeatedly escaped EFL sanctions despite their creative accountancy. We have been shafted every which way on FFP whilst c*nts like Derby and others take the piss...
