In order to reduce the number of stickied threads, Ron and I are proposing to add a link to the Virtual Betting Shop (for those who use it) to each Daily Thread.

@attivo - I have copied a hyperlink into your opening post for today's thread, would you mind to just copy it in to each daily thread going forward?

Let me know if this is a problem.

    Plumpton 2.50 Shanroe Santos

    - career low mark
    - 2nd in the Sussex National on only other visit at this track
    - has run well in january several times in its career
    - stable in good form
    - booking of Bryony Frost and first time visor could eak out some improvement
    - stable placed 3 times
in handicap chases at Plumpton from 3 runs over last 5 seasons

Should run well for each way purposes today

I know they’ve done remarkably to get where they have, but that style of football from Wycombe is dire to watch! Tony Pulis in a leather jacket stuff

Who do you support Nass? Not that team we beat 5-1 is it?

you surely know who I support, our club has gone through hell, finally we’ve got fan ownership and a new manager who has started very well. About time we had a run of good form and hopefully we can get into the playoffs. The joy of support Chesterfield.

it amazed me the style of football Wycombe were playing, probably in a good way, direct and physical. However that does seem slightly at odds to the Gareth Ainsworth ‘look’

Good to hear Nass. I was really puzzled how your team ever went out of the league. Always a very strong side. Something clearly went wrong. Good luck and hope to see you back in the FL where you belong. Sorry about the dig <cheers>

Gross mismanagement, the issue when you let a pigeon fancier from Sheffield take over a football club. How we went from L1 playoffs with Sam Morsy, Sam Clucas and co to non league obscurity with managers sons playing ahead of decent pros I will never know. Thankfully we now have stolen all Gloucester City's team and are looking upwards once more. I do think we are still a stonking bet for the playoffs, could be odds on if we win tonight for that. A big shift is taking place at last!
