Out of the ashes of coronavirus rose a phoenix and he was called Sir Captain Tom Moore. R.I.P. you wonderful man..
He was being treated for pneumonia prior to contracting covid. Hero shouldn't get branded about but what this man did for the NHS was remarkable, he deserves the accolade. A gentleman and lovely man to boot. RIP Sir Captain Moore.
R.I.P. Capt Sir Tom. A fantastic life and servant to his country a true hero and a wonderful legacy left behind after his fundraising achievements.
Big shame. What this does do is put a face to represent the old people who have died from this horrible illness. Too many have the ‘they were old anyway’ attitude but they were all characters and personalities with stories to tell and families and his act benefited the nhs and helped others while others moan about the service they get. This bloke had done a lot and survived a lot and this horrible illness saw him off. Sad day.
