Piers Morgan has just walked off gmb after being picked up on for his continuous trashing of Meghan what a ****ing snowflake
Agreed. He's made himself look an idiot. I support his views on Harry and Meghan but he's done himself no favour by flouncing out
The problem I have with Morgan is pretty much what Alex Beredford said, it appears Morgan has personal reasons for disliking her and it comes across with the continuous amount of bitching about her, it’s way over the top and far too often. Granted they are the news now but he gives her **** pretty much daily, he’s slightly changed his narrative from yesterday, which was to suggest she was lying about her mental health issues. Lots of people watch him daily and when he is pushing his negative views about her, even when there is no story there, some people take his views believe them and parrot it out again and again. Can’t stand Morgan, that includes his interviews with the government, he gets all shouty and rarely lets anyone respond fully.
Have you seen that word all over social media recently? No? If it’s a word I use a lot at worse it’s me not using a more varied vocabulary. However if you see lots of people using the same word, the exact same expressions that’s unlikely to be a coincidence, you must be able to see the difference surely?
I'm not getting at the repetition of the word, Will, so much as the meaning. It all falls into a pattern of intellectual hubris that I've also seen in Strolls and Watford where they believe that others who disagree with them (most often, in not voting for the Labour Party) are brain-dead without views of their own, who simply soak in what the Sun tells them, and "parrot" it out again. Most people I've met, working class, Brexit supporters, Monarchists, whatever, very much have their own views and know what's going on around them in their own lives. Of course, they can be influenced by the media, as we all can - after all, that's where we all get 99% of our information. But as to "parroting" by using media type words, often it is simply that it is easier to articulate views using vocabulary provided by the professional journalists they read or view.
My problem with the so called monarchy is that they represent the head of a pyramid called the 'aristocracy'. This band of interbreds actually own 30% of the land in England - in all half the land in England is owned by less than 1% of the population. These few thousand (so called) Dukes, Baronets and Country Squires base their land ownership on favours granted by the Monarchy - in most cases the favoured members of William's Norman army (ie. their 'ownership' is based on being descended from invadors and thieves). The hereditary aristocracy is not a native English tradition (any more than a hereditary monarchy is). Just thought I'd point this all out ! Anyone looking for truly 'English' traditions would surely start somewhere else than through eulogizing the descendents of foreign invadors. I have nothing personally against the so called Elizabeth Windsor, or her archaic family, and if she turned up on my doorstep she would be offered a tea like anyone else. I just want her system gone - and having done that, all favours and land which have been granted on the basis of that institution would also be held as null and void. I mean why attack only the 'head' and not the rest of the pyramid ? So if Harry and Meghan's attacks on the Royal Family can serve the purpose of weakening the blind trust which exists in that institution by the blind and deluded then so much the better ! Bring back the Levellers and the Diggers
The Yanks believe every word of it. They believe that The Crown is a documentary originally produced by the Discovery Channel. ... and half of them believe that their election was rigged, that top politicians are aliens and that Black people should still be slaves!
I think i would be in the 'couldn't give a ****' option too. More importantly, Goldy has been sneaking Harry and Meghan posts on the politics thread.
