I had Pfizer and my wife had Oxford-AstraZeneca. We were both asked to wait 15 minutes.

You’re a true gent. My wife has just got back under her own steam, I wanted to make the pasta sauce and have a glass of wine. She’s fine.

I too was asked if I was driving therefore I had to wait 15 minutes, I walked so was “let out “ immediately.
I was fine for about 10 hours until I got 12 hours of flue like symptoms, but have been fine since.
A gin and tonic and an early night, I suggest

Kate Middleton went there today. Imagine the gammony outrage if it was Meghan Markle.

There wouldn't have been a reaction if Markle had gone while she was still doing royal duties.

With Met Police Commissioner Cressida Dick under pressure to resign over the Clapham Common farce, some Home Office minister on the radio just now said the government wanted to give the Met a 'chance to explain its actions' on the issue. When any government representative is offered the chance to explain their actions over the countless £billions handed to donors and cronies, they just resort to 'We were in the middle of a Pandemic'. Will they allow Ms Dick the same excuse, I wonder?

First we had Glasgow Rangers fans celebrating, setting off fire works meeting in massive groups ignoring social distancing and then we have yesterdays protest at Clapham Common. I have to say I am glad I am not a copper.
Fans were told to stay home and celebrate.....but didnt - thus potentially causing Covid numbers to rise
Clapham protest - organises went to court, court said no but people still attended although organisers did say to stay home and light a candle.
Not only are those two groups potentially causing a further outbreak but it could also affect the front line staff.

Whilst I feel very sorry for al the heartache that Sarah's family and friends must be going through, the organisers protesting in her name could have done organised this at a later stage when it could be organised in a Covid friendly / Socially distanced way. I for one thing agree in this protest, as any female of any age should be safe when on their own - I just wish a little more thought should have been given to others.

    RIP Sarah.

I had the Pfizer jab, was asked to wait 15 minutes too. Apart for a bit of aching arm, no side effects. Bumped into my 83 year old neighbour who has had both his iabs, second one in December, with no problems. Just out of curiosity, what age group are they doing now?

40 recorded cases out of 17 million doses given, the same as would be expected in the general population if the vaccine didn’t exist. The WHO and EMA say nothing to worry about. There might be a link, but it’s such a small effect it would just be an additional side effect warning on the label, serious adverse event very rare (less than 1/10000).

Had my first jab yesterday and was asked if I take anything to thin my blood. No. If it had been yes, it would be interesting to know how far they would look into my medical history in view of blood clot investigations in Europe.
