Hope we get him hall and gabby to injury prone and connolly and perone are #### add to him a striker and some cover for the cm and i think we'll be ok as long as we can hold our own till january
In that case, we shouldn't get in another African based player, that would mean we'd lose three players come January. We also need cover at left back.
Would be terrific. I like Connolly but he doesn't seem physically up to it in the middle and Hall is about as reliable as a junkie you entrust with a tenner.
Would be a good signing, although I'd imagine that we'd be in the same situation as we were the last time we were in for him, i.e. no deal unless Spurs can prise Gary Cahill from Bolton.
Classic! He is flying on Bull#### airlines via Fantasy island and heading to QPR. You heard it first here, although some websites mentioned it yesterday, i am ITK.
Quality player, streets ahead of what you have at the moment. Cant believe he hasnt featured more for spurs.
QPR boss undecided over Spurs defender QPRQPR boss undecided over Spurs defender 13/10/2011 by David McIntyre QPR manager Neil Warnock insists he has not yet decided whether to resurrect his interest in Tottenham defender Sebastien Bassong. Rangers believed they were going to sign Bassong on loan before the transfer deadline but Spurs opted to keep the Cameroon international after failing with a bid to sign Gary Cahill from Bolton. Warnock is keen to sign at least one defender when the transfer window reopens in January and Bassong is likely to be available. But the R’s boss said: “We’re looking at a number of players now. We’re looking at options not just in this country but further afield as well. “We wanted him before and it fell through. I don’t know yet whether we’ll go back in for him.” Warnock’s limited defensive options were highlighted during the recent 6-0 defeat at Fulham, where they were without Danny Gabbidon, Armand Traore and Matt Connolly. Traore is available again serving a suspension, but Gabbidon has failed to recover from a hamstring strain in time for this weekend’s match against Backburn. Connolly is still struggling with an ankle problem and faces a fitness test ahead of Saturday’s game. “The Fulham game showed that we need to keep our back four together if possible – we need all hands on deck,” Warnock added. “I do think that when we’ve got my first-choice back line we can get away with extra attacking players, but otherwise it is difficult and we will have to adapt. “What we could do with is a couple of utility players who can play all the way across the back four.” www.twitter.com/davidmcintyre76 www.twitter.com/westlondonsport Comments »
Let's hope Tony gives Neil enough money to bid for Cahill!,but Bassong would be good and Ridgewell could still be a possibility!
Only yesterday i was looking at Newsnow and various media were talking about incoming players that NW wanted in January. We add 2+2 =5. Sorry CB just because you pick up a scrap of news which by the way (we were linked with him before deadline day) and post it doesn't mean to say its true otherwise we would have a Russian owner now, yes? AS i said before nothing against you but i don't believe all this ITK rubbish that people come out with. All i was doing was laughing at the reply to your comment: Yes, free from January onwards. Maybe your source forgot to mention that Cameroon were not in the African Nations Cup? Here's one for you all NW will go in for Rooney in Jan but if it don't come off then these things happen. You heard it first here. BTW Rio has been linked with LA galaxy but we are after him, once again if it does not happen it doesn't. See we can all be an ITK as sooner or later i will get one right. Is it Saturday yet?
